After getting off the phone with my brother I went to Derek's storming inside I folded my arms

"Daisy?"

"I want you to teach me how to fight" I said interrupting him

"Wait what?" Isaac asked

"Does Scott know you're here?" Erica asked I looked at her

"Yeah he does"I said

"Walk with me"Derek says grabbing my arm and pulling me to his car where we drove to the preserve we stumbled upon a pond I sat down my feet in the water Derek sits beside me

"Where is this coming from?" He asked I ran a hand through my hair

"I know I'm...Well I don't know what the hell my purpose is and things are getting worse my best friend is the kanima and I'm seriously confused about everything since that night"I said

"You're confused about us?" He asked I looked at the water before looking at him

"No....being with you is more simple it's not supernatural or something as little and confusing as school or wondering does my mom know what I do at night?does she wonder why I keep my door locked because I only use the window to sneak in....does she know I'm a monster?"I said

"You're not a monster...." I cut him off

"I've killed people Derek...not by hand but people are dying because they see me..." He cuts me off

"I've killed people too by hand daisy....you may see it as murder but I don't I'll never see it that way and you can't convince me to"he says I looked in the water at my reflection

"What do you see it as?" I asked him

"I see it as you're giving them a warning....you're warning them danger is coming"he says I shook my head before looking at him

"How did I get so lucky?" I asked no one in particular

"Well it's because you stupidly decided it was okay to jog in the woods at night"he says I shoved his shoulder making him laugh

"That was a rhetorical question"I said rolls his eyes before pulling off his pants and shirt

"Now stop all your whining and join me"he says getting in the pond I pulled off my dress and shoes before he pulls me in making me laugh he circles around me

"Better?" He asked

"Much better"I said he pulls me into a kiss his hands on my face and mine gripping his hips

"Yes"i ignored my best friend to the best of my ability most of the time this was one of those times

"It's called the kanima a weapon of vengeance there's a story in there about this south american priest who uses the kanima to execute murderers in his village"Allison explains

"Alright see?so maybe it's not all that bad"stiles says I looked at him

"You and daisy have a make up exam remember?"she says I groaned

"Promise me if he does anything you'll run the other way"he tells her
