Twilight The Unexpected Man

Killed a vampire, got a girlfriend!

The battle with the newborn had finally ended. The Cullen's would stay and wait, and the pack would go back to their side of the land. Before they split a vampire staggered out from behind a rock behind Leah. She turned around and  before she lunged at the vampire a pure white wolf appeared out of the woods and ripped the vampire to shredz. The wolf turned around and stared at Leah. Their eyes locked into each other. Leah felt like gravity was pulling her towards the wolf. Mentally she was forgetting her feelings towards Sam. She could also feel everything that she ever cared about became second importance and the mysterious wolf became everything in her life. The white wolf look at everyone in the eyes after a couple minutes of tense silence. The wolf shifted into his human form. The Cullen's and the pack expected the shapeshifter to appear naked like normally would happen but the person appeared fully clothed. Everybody could see that the mysterious figure was actually a man. The man had blue eyes, black hair, bronze skin, and he was wearing blue jeans, a t-shirt, and some black boots. The man stretched and simply waved at everybody.

"Who are you!" Edward screamed at him. The man raised his eyebrows in question.

"Well, that was a slow reaction. Aren't you vampires faster?" Edward ignored what the mysterious man said and asked the question again. "I'm not going to repeat myself, who are you!" The man shook his head took a deep breath and started to speak.

"Look I didn't come here with a purpose. I just wanted to pass through Forks in one piece but I heard a fight so I went to investigate. By the time that I arrived here the fight was over but before I turned around and left I saw one of the vampires that wasn't destroyed getting ready to attack the female wolf so I jumped in and killed it. That's why I'm here." The man finished telling Edward why he was there. Edward read his mind and concluded that the man was telling the truth. "He's telling the truth." The Cullen's all signed in relief.

"Hey could you tell the alpha of the pack to meet me at La Push Beach, mister?"

"Cullen, Edward Cullen." The man nodded his head. "Well Edward. I would like to know if your family wouldn't mind me visiting you guys at your home. I want to talk because most likely can realize I don't smell like a wolf and I'll explain why." Edward smelled the air it was true what the man said he didn't smell like one of those werewolves he smelled normal. "Come to our house in two days."

The man nodded his head and shifted back into his wolf form before he left he reminded Edward to tell the pack leader to meet him at La Push Beach. Edward nodded his head in confirmation but before the mysterious man left. Edward asked him for his name. The man responded mentally. 'My name is blank.' After that was done he went straight to the beach and waited for the pack to arrive.

{La Push Beach.}

The man arrived at the beach he shifted back into his human form. He stood there and waited for the pack to arrive. After a couple of long minutes he could sense that they had arrived. He waited for them to put on their clothing seconds later the pack walked towards him. He stared at the leader of the pack. They both stood in front of each other seconds of silence passed. Sam decided to break the ice. "What's your name?"

The man responded. "John." John asked the same question.

"What's yours?" Sam responded. "Sam." After a couple minutes of more silence. John decided to speak his mind. "Okay we're not going to get nowhere the way we're going. Let's make this simple. You introduce your pack and I answer any questions I can. Deal."

Sam nodded his head. "Deal. This is my pack there names are Leah, Jacob, Seth, Embry, Jared, Paul, Brady, and Quilt." John nodded to each and every one of them but he noticed that Leah was looking at him longingly he decided to ignore that for now. "So what's your question."

Sam looked at him in the eyes and asked. "How can you shape-shift like us I know for a fact that you're not one of us."

John chuckled and responded. "Well it's simple. At a young age I discovered that I had a power this power is named genetic manipulation I can basically manipulate my own and other people's genetics."

Everybody look that John surprised. They thought to themselves how can someone normal get powers. "Do you know how you receive the power was it your mom or your dad?" Jacob asked.

"I actually don't know it just happened when I was 13."

"Do you have any limits." Seth asked with excitement.

"My only limit is my imagination basically."

"How old are you?" One of the pack member asks. "I'm 20 years old. Okay I know that we just got here but I'm actually pretty tired so can we ask one last question and tomorrow we can continue this. After this I'm going to need to find somewhere to sleep."

They all looked at him and Jacob step forward. "Well John if you don't mind you can crash in my place." John gave Jacob a big smile. "I would love to anyways what's the last question?"

" When did you decide to take a form of a wolf?" Seth ask again.

"I decided on taking a wolf from when I was 18. This is the end of the questions tomorrow we can continue this because I'm too tired." Everybody nodded their heads and decided to go and do their respected jobs. Sam stopped John and Leah from leaving and told Jacob that he should wait for him in the woods he was going to talk to him. Jacob nodded his head and left. Sam turned to John and said. "Do you know what happens when you become a werewolf like us?" John shook his head. "No why are you telling me?"

"It's very important that you should know but I will be telling you something specific. When you phase for the first time from there on out there is a big possibility that you will eventually one day find your soulmate. When you find your soulmate you will imprint on them. What that means for us is that the person that imprinted and the person are together for the rest of their lives. The in printer will become the perfect spouse for the person. And will do just about anything that the person tells the in printer. Some shapeshifters never find a soulmate and some find their soulmate immediately." John was confused why was he telling him this. "Why are you?"

"Telling you this? Is because someone imprinted on you and the person that imprinted on you is on your left. It's my responsibility to address this and I'm addressing it right now. So I'll leave you two to talk about." Sam walked away leaving John and Leah alone. They stared at each other trying to figure out what they would say to each other. John decided to speak first. "So are you okay with this?" She chuckled and bit her lip. "I've been wanting this for long time. I thought I would never be able to imprint because I'm the first-ever female shifter the whole history of the tribe. How do you feel about this?"

"It's unexpected but I don't feel any negative emotions about this. The question is what happens after you imprint?" She looked up to the sky and start to speak. "Before I imprinted I was very angry I was angry at Sam at my cousin Emily because they ended up together. What I mean is I was dating Sam but when Sam shifted he ended up in printing on Emily so when you in print any person that you are in a relationship with you will automatically break up with them. At the time he couldn't tell me exactly why because I didn't become a wolf yet so I hated him and her for a long time but when I imprinted on you it went away everything all the anger all the hate just disappeared. When I found out why he left me I was mad but I wanted that I wanted to imprint to feel love have someone to talk to and be happy." John walk behind her and gave her a hug. She leaned into him and close her eyes. She feel happy in his arms she didn't want to leave them even though they just met. "You don't have to tell me everything we can continue talking tomorrow if you want." She nodded her head and snuggle deeper into him. He could get used to this having someone that would be there always. Someone he could actually trust. They stayed like that for a couple minutes. "I really don't want to do this but I have to go. Jacob is waiting for me." Even though she didn't want to she separated from him. She told him that tomorrow she would most likely be at Jacob's house early to pick him up. He agreed and they parted ways.
