Gabby's POV
Currently I was sitting in the living room with my older brother Jc, his best friend Tyler blue and my best friend Amanda star. we where waiting for my parents to get home from work because they had called a family meeting and insisted that Tyler and Amanda be here. I was sitting there trying to think of reason why they would want Amanda and Tyler to be here for a family meeting I was snapped out of my thought when I heard the front door slam closed and could hear mums heels and dads heavy footsteps on the wooden floorboards. when they entered the living room they had smiles on their faces but they where hiding something they looked at us for about 10 minutes without saying a word so I broke the silence "what's going on mum and dad why did we have to bring Tyler and Amanda to the family meeting" as soon as I said that they looked up at us with nervous looks on their faces me and Jc looked at each other with a look of fear.
Mum was the first to talk "well kids we have some great news me and dad just got a big promotion". Jc and I jumped up ready to hug our parents when dad spoke up before we could "that's not all the reason we asked you to bring Tyler and Amanda with you is so they wouldn't be confused when you didn't show up to school for 2 years" in sync Jc and I yelled "what do you mean not attending school for 2 years" that's when they told us all that for this promotion they would have to go on a business trip for 2 years and because we are to 'young' to stay by ourselves we are stay with family friend that live in la. they told us that Amanda and Tyler could spend the night since we aren't going to see them in a while just as long as we pack our bags because we will be leaving at 12pm tomorrow.
the next morning we woke up and it was 9am Amanda and Tyler where going to stay with us until we leave for the airport then go to school so we lounged around watching movies till 11am we said goodbye to our best friends and promised to visit and stay in contact with each other and then we got in the car and drove to the airport. It only took 30 minutes to get to the airport and by the time we got their we almost missed the plane we said goodbye to our parents and ran to or gate. Once we got on the plane I settled down and tried to sleep we are in for a long flight.
