Summer Camp Crush

It was turning July 15th and that was the day that was permanently stuck in my memory, it was the day for summer camp. Ever since my mum and dad discussed that they had to go on an important job vacation the only place they could think of to put me was in a stupid camp away from Dinah and Ally. It really sucked because all summer I just wanted to be in their company but of course my parents had better plans for me.

That morning.

"Mija time to wake up, its camp day", Sinu was up and ready, with Sofi holding her hand on their way to Camila's room, once her mum and sister entered they sat at the edge of her bed, desperately waking her up. Sofi impatiently decided jumping on her sister would for sure do the trick and get her out of bed. Camila starts to turn in her bed she immediately grabs and wrestled Sofi on the bed whilst violently tickling her to death.

"Mila, st..stop" trying to escape her sisters strong grip with the giggles. 

"No way Sof, Your the one who decided to jump on my bed, ay". Camila says with a huge smirk on her face from hearing her sister giggling so hard in her arms.

As the interaction happens Sinu is sitting observing her two beautiful daughters who she doesn't want to separate but painful has to. When Camila realised this she stops and both start to descend downstairs to get breakfast and everything ready for their road trip to the camp.

Alejandro, Sinu and Sofia are all waiting on Camila in the car ready to go, when she slowly walks out of the front door dreading this day already. She sits in the sit beside Sofia and sadly placed her headphones on, she notices that the car gradually is moving away from the driveway and she peeks up one last time to her house that she will miss.

Breathing in a deep breath she mumbled, "See you, after summer vacation."

Just as Camila and the family were driving through motorway to motorway, with music blasting through her ears with Ed Sheeran's lyrics. She noticed she received 2 text messages from her best friends.

Dinah : Hey Chancho, I can't believe you're leaving me this summer. When you come back your totally dead, gonna miss you so much. P.S: don't fall in any lakes, that would be funny.

Ally : Hey Mila, I hope you have an amazing summer and make new friends. I love you and miss you already. P.S: try to have fun.

Camila starts to read both of the messages and without knowing to herself, starts to laugh and has the widest smile on her face. The love she has for the two girls is indescribable and she can't believe how lucky she is to have them in life. When she's ready to response to the messages she noticed how her battery was slowly dying, with that she decides to put her phone on airplane mode and wait to charge it when she gets there.

It was 4:30pm and the Cabello family had finally arrived at the camp where the oldest daughter will be staying for the entire holiday. As Camila checks her surroundings she comes to terms that her family have made it, she quickly looks from her side of the car window and is taken away from the beauty of the wilderness, however she still can't budge the feeling of already missing her friends and her home back in Miami.

When Alejandro parks the car the family all exist, Sinu helpfully grabs Camila's suitcases from the back of the car and places it down on the pavement in front of Camila.

"Thanks Mami" Camila says strongly trying to give her mum a small smile with her gratitude.

When Camila looks up from her suitcase and lifts the handle up to slowly roll it to the main entrance to get her designated room and information about the program.

She suddenly interlocks eyes from afar with a raven haired girl with the brightest emerald eyes she's ever seen, she immediately has a huge lump in her throat and she quickly looks away to start making her way behind her parents to the main reception.

"That girl is stunningly beautiful". Camila thought when she walked in and that wasn't the last she will be seeing of Lauren Jauregui.
