Chapter 11

Elena's POV

"I knew it wouldn't be long before you came here to flirt with my girl." Stefan says to Damon. Damon the man who is protectively pushing me behind him so Stefan doesn't touch me.

"I'm not your girl. Once again Stefan Salvatore let's his jealousy get in between his social life. And don't you EVER call me YOUR girl again. And maybe you were right, maybe I do have feelings for your brother! But what do you care? You don't have humanity!" I yell, proud of myself for that statement.

I spot Damon looking at me without a smile but you can tell he's happy. Then I realize why. I JUST ADMITTED THAT I LIKE DAMON.....TO DAMON! Oh my gosh...I'm so stupid.

"Elena, go upstairs, now. Call Klaus and have him pick you up from your window." Damon says, and then I realise why. Stefan has an evil grin on his face.

"I'm not leaving you." I say.

"ELENA GO NOW!" Damon yells.

I run upstairs as fast as I can with a tear falling down from my cheek.

Klaus POV

I'm sitting on the couch reading a book when my phone starts to ring. I pick it up and answer, "Hello?"

"K-klaus Stefan has his humanity off a-and I'm upstairs because Damon told me to tell y-you to come get me at the window because he, he, he's fighting Stefan and, *Crash* Oh my gosh! Please Klaus please hurry!"

"Alright Love I'll be there in five. Stay upstairs don't go down no matter what." I say.

I hang up the phone and toss the book on the couch. I get my jacket on and run out of the door.

Elena's POV

I sit on my bed after I call Klaus. I hear a crash from downstairs and Stefans yell,"I'm stronger now brother!" Oh my gosh. Damon h-he might die!

I start to run out of my room to go downstairs when someone grabs me from behind. "No. You have to come with me." Klaus says.

"NO! He's down there Damon Is Down There! He might die Klaus! I have to go get him!"

"You are my priority right now sweetheart." Klaus says and starts to drag me away by my waist.

"PLEASE NO! HELP HIM! PLEASE!" I yell sobbing.

He vamp speeds out of the house.

Damon's POV

I kick Stefan in the stomach, as he comes at me with a steak and jabs it into my stomach. I howl in pain. But the next one goes right into my heart.

Before I die I hear someone outside chant,"Es Motos Treebhrum." And therefore I know I'm not going to die. Thanks Bon Bon.

Klaus POV

I walk into my house with Elena kicking and screaming in my arms.

"ELIJAH!" I yell.

Elijah comes walking in and looks a bit confused when he sees my dilemma.

"Nicklaus what have you-" I cut him off.

"Take her now, don't let her go NO matter what!" I yell and Elijah takes the angered girl.

I run out the front door to go get Damon. If he's still alive.

10 minutes later

I walk into Elena's house to see a great mess. And worst of all, I see Damon on the floor with a steak through his chest, and veins running up his face. No. NO!

Everything Elena has cared for in this world has just gone to crap.

I think as I walk out of the door slamming it behind me.

Elena's POV

Elijah won't let me go, Haley is trying to comfort me as I cry and Rebekah is not here.

Suddenly the door opens and Klaus walks through.....without Damon.

"He's dead." He says sorrowly to me.

No. No. NO! Why?! I feel like my heart has exploded.

I fall to the ground screaming and crying.

"GO! ALL OF YOU! PLEASE LET ME BE ALONE!" I yell. And everyone leaves except for Klaus.

"I'm sorry, I tried Elena I really did." He says and goes to a different room.

I stay in the floor crying and sobbing and making these weird noises that sound like a dying cat.

When I hear the door open I don't even look up to see who it is. Hopefully it's Stefan coming to kill me.

"Oh, Elena." This man says with sadness in his voice. I-its Damon's voice!

I shoot my head up to look at him. I stand up and say,"D-Damon?" I say, my voice is hoarse and I keep sniffling.

Damon's POV

She is sniffling and you can tell she's been crying for a very long time. She really cares that much for me? She looks at me with wonder on her face.

Before I know it she running up to me and her lips collide with mine. I'm shocked at first, but I kiss back.

This is all I ever wanted.
