Monte and Lia went over to her parents house for supper that night and they were both greeted with a big hug from Silvia.
"I'm so glad you two could make it!"
"I'm glad we could be here," Lia replied.
The three of them went into the living room with their Dad already seated on his chair, watching the news channel. All of their eyes were focused on the news channel.
"Hello I'm Assunta, and here is the top story concerning a UFO found inside the forest just outside of the town of Belluno. Could our planet be invaded by aliens and is this weird object that was found really a UFO? Let's hear from Jacopo, who is reporting live at the scene."
The TV switched to the where Jacopo was reporting live from. He was in the forest with a giant round object that appeared to be an alien's spaceship.
"Thank you Assunta. This is Jacopo, reporting live at the scene. As you can see here, this object which appears to not have crashed in any way. Seems to have landed here like it was planned. Now, there have been no sighting of aliens at this point but there is no doubt that this ship belongs to an alien. Perhaps they haven't stepped foot off the ship yet, but there have been reports on sighting with UFO's like this one flying around in the sky. This is all the information I can give you at the moment. Now back to you, Assunta."
The news was now back to the news room.
"So there you have it. We have yet to meet any aliens but if you see any sightings, don't hesitate to report it."
Lia's face went pale with fear. That guy she had met was really telling the truth and he really did intend to take her back to his home planet. He really was an alien.
Their Dad just shook his head. "Can you believe the shit they come up with?" he complained. "They will report anything they can to scare us now."
"You're right Dad," Silvia replied. "There's no such thing as aliens. It's just crazy!"
He looked over at Lia and Monte. "Nice to see you two here finally!"
"Yeah," Monte smiled. "Silvia wanted to Lia to come over to watch some anime with her."
"Is that so?"
Monte nodded his head.
"Then I suppose you want the TV then?"
"Come on Dad," Silvia said trying to sound innocent. "Just one episode!"
He got up off the couch. "Okay, I suppose. Do you need any help hooking up the computer to the TV?"
"Sure! Thanks Dad!"
Lia and Monte sat down on the couch while their Dad hooked up the laptop to the TV. He left the room once he was finished. Silvia joined them on the couch on after she was done setting up Bleach.
"I prefer to watch it in Japanese," Silvia began. "Are you guys alright with that?"
"Well it's the proper way to watch anime," Lia added.
"I honestly prefer the English dub," said Monte. "I can't stand the Japanese voices."
"Are you serious," Silvia shouted. "I think it's the English voice actors are awful!"
They started to play the episode of Bleach and the opening played through and got through all the introductions of the show. The narrator come on the program and began to introduce what happened last episode.
"The final showdown with the Arrancar will be this winter. Ichigo, Sado, Ishida, Rukia, and Orihime...are using what time they have left to increase their strength through special training. Elsewhere, Hitsuguya's advance guard has been making its own preparations, while continually fending off powerful hollows. But Suddenly, the situation changed dramatically."
