Ch 4. Riker's POV:
..........."Is he dead?"............"Shut up, Rocky!".............."He's not dead, Rocky, right Rydel?"................."Guys stop, I think he's waking up"....... "Riker? A-are you awake, yet?"....."Dude, poke him."........ "Okay....Ugh. It's not working. But he does look funny when I do this." ......"That's enough Ross! Just give him some air."
I finally fully conscioused and began to feel touching on my face and arms. Before I felt another annoying poke, I grabbed the hand."Do you wanna keep your finger? If so I suggest you don't do that again, Ross." I snap. "Rawr, rawr! Someone's got a rude 'tude." Rocky said pawing his hand towards me in a cat-like manner. I roll my eyes and stand up. "...Ow. W-what the hell happened anyway?" I ask holding my head. Rydel runs over to me.
Rydel's POV:
I put a wet cloth over where Riker was holding his head. "We were looking for you and you ran out infront of us. Luckily, you ran off to the sidewalk just in time and that's when you hit your head pretty hard on a street light pole." I babbled out, pushing him back down to sit. "You really should rest the night off. Mom said you'll be fine in the morning. Just take this." I handed him some water and a pill. "Thanks.." Riker sighed out. I fooled with his hair and smiled. "Let me know if you need anything, okay?" he smiled back. "What did mom want to talk about?" I didn't make eye contact with him. "Rydel?" I started to pace the floor. "Del..what is it?" he asked one more time. I finally managed to get out, "Um..I..uh don't know." I lied. I hate lying to Riker. Like that one time for Christmas, he asked if the new neon strings were for him and obviously I said no but then felt guilty and told him otherwise..He shook off my answer and spoke again. "Okay. Um, what time is it, Dell?" I pulled out my phone from my pocket. "12:13 AM" I answered back. "You were out for quite a bit. Rocky and Ross started to think you died." I laughed. Riker didnt. "You okay, Riker?" he took the rag off his head and ran upstairs.
"Wait, Riker, what's wrong?" I call out to him. The only response I got was a sound of a slammed door.
