2 years after the war
Hermione's POV
I am sitting in my office getting ready to leave for the day I still can't believe that I am already the Minister of magic I have only been out of school for a year I leave and let my assistant know that I am leaving for the day and I head to diagon alley I am walking down diagon alley to the new cafe that is run by blaise zabani and his girlfriend who is also my best friend ginny weasley I am almost to the cafe when I see a familiar sleeping figure in the alleyway I get closer and see that it is the man I have feelings for and that man is draco malfoy so I decided to gently shake him awake "draco, draco wake up" I say as I gently shake him he opens his eyes and looks me in the eyes "Hermione what are you doing here" I look at the sadness In his eyes "I found you here, what are doing sleeping in an alleyway and would you like to join me for dinner" I say "I have no home and I would love to join you for dinner" he says I grab his hand and help him up I continue to hold his hand and I lead him to my flat above Ginny and blaises cafe and gave him a glass of water I started cooking dinner after dinner was finished we sat on the couch and started watching tv "draco would you like to live here with me" I ask "of course I would" he says " great I love you" I thought I said quietly but he heard "I love you too Hermione " he says "you do" I ask "I do Hermione I really do love you" he says I cuddle up next to him and give him a kiss on his lips "its getting late I'm going to head to bed feel free to join me when you're ready my love" I say "I'm right behind you love" he says and gives me a kiss I get up and head to our room and change into pjs I then climb into bed and so does draco I cuddle up to him and he puts his arm around me and I peacefully fall asleep
The next day
Dracos pov
I wake up the next morning and Hermione is still peacefully sleeping next to me I tighten my grip around her and kiss her neck I then got up and grabbed my wand and went to watch tv Hermione entered and joined me "let's go get you some clothes" she said "ok" I say and we go shopping
