The Library (Xiuchen Oneshot)

Library

Hey this is my first time writing a Xiumin x Chen story.  So I hope you enjoy .                                            -Teddy

*Minseok*

It was Friday night I decided to go spend time in the library to study for a test on Monday. Today it wasn't as busy as other days cause it was Friday. Most people would rather spend their time out partying or something. But that wasn't me for I really cared for my grades. 

It was 5:03 pm as I was looking at my phone. I'll spend another hour just in case. I was siting down on the table studying my math book. When out of nowhere a guy came in and sat down in front of me with the worst expression ever. But I must admit he did look kinda hot. Wait scratch that out he is very hot. 

I look back at my book realizing that I was staring at him. Which made my face very hot. But why do I feel this way I don't even know the guy and I'm already falling. Xiumin pull yourself together and study he's just a random guy. 

"Ummm...... can you help me study?" a low voice asked in front of me. I looked up to see that it was the guy in front of me. 

"Umm.... s-ssure." I say strutting in a whisper. I see the guy stand up and he sits next me. Great I don't think I can handle it now with my heart beating so fast. 

"Hi my name is Kim Jongdae but you can call me Chen. " he half whispers to me. Now I can get a better view of his face.... very handsome indeed.  I can feel my cheeks heating up great. 

"Umm..... my name is Kim Minseok ...... but you can call me Xiumin." I whisper softly hiding my embarrassment. As I look down.  I saw the book in his hand it was the same as mine which could only mean that we go to the same school. On top of that he's also wearing the same uniform as me, now that I notice. 

I hear Chen say "I chose the right one." But I didn't know what he meant by that. So I pushed it aside. 

"So what would you like me to help you with?" I say while pointing at his math book. At first he looks at me like what am I talking about then he looks down at his own math book. With his almond dark brown eyes slightly widen. Which made a small laugh escape my mouth.  I automatically cover my mouth for laughing and also to kinda hide my also red face. Chen also laughs at me with a very beautiful smile on his face. which makes my heart explode. 

*Time Passes*

Time passed very fast since we study a little bit but also talked about very random things. It turns out Chen is somewhat good at math just needs to study more. But in overall I enjoyed myself I never knew a person like Chen, he was very fun to be around with. I learned a few things about him like the fact that he says he isn't good at dancing.  Which I was like wow he seem like a dancer to me but in fact he's a good singer. Man I wish I could listen to him I'm pretty sure he sings beautifully. But it sucks that we were in the library. Chen also learned a few things about me that embarrassed the heck out of me. 

By now it was 6:50 the library was almost closing. I actually wish to spend more time with Chen. He's very cheerful and nice. I feel like I've fallen in love with him. Thinking about it makes my cheeks warm and my heart beating very fast. 

"The library is closing in a few minutes right?"  He said looking a little down. Could it be that he wants to spend more time with me? I nod my head to Chen saying 'yes'. He looks at me again and gives me a small smile. I smile back without saying anything. 

"Would you like to go to near by Cafe with me?" Chen says as he extends out his arm when he stands up from he's chair. I just nod my head and took his hand as we left the library. 

We were walking for a few minutes until I realized we were still holding hands. It felt the warmth coming from his hand. It felt smoothing and nice. This is the first time I felt like this, I guess that I did fall for him. Hmmm.... But I'm glad I did. 

We continued to walk hand in hand into a near by Cafe. It was very warm inside but it wasn't so crowded. Chen finally let go of my hand, and the warmth left as well.

Near a window we sat, he was siting right in front of me. But I don't mind cause I get a outstanding view of his handsome features.  At first we didn't utter a word and just looked at menu. Then a girl came with short brown hair to ask for our order. She looked at Chen but Chen wouldn't look at her he just told her what he wanted without breaking eye contact with me. 

Until I did when the girl asked me next. After we order and the waiter left. Chen looked at me like as if he could see what's inside my soul. Then his lips slightly opened, "Xiumin I have something to tell you and yes I know that we just met but..." Chen stopped when the waiter came with our order. I really want to know what he was about to say. I look at my food then back at Chen hoping he continue. But instead he said, "Don't worry Xiumin I'll tell you when we finish okay." 

All I say is, "Okay." Now I really want to know. But I'll wait. We start we eating our food, silently. I didn't mind cause it was a good warm silent. Until I broke the silence with a question. "You go to the same school as me right?" I question as I look at his uniform.  

"I guess we do I swear I've seen you a few times around." He said as he sips on his drink. Wait what I never knew this I haven't seem him at all. What have I been missing on. But I'm glad that I've him. 

When we finished our food Chen paid and we left. He extended out his hand so I would take his hand which I did. He led me to a bench. It was pretty dark already but I didn't mind. We sat down quiet for a minute or so. Chen looks at with eyes full of love. 

"Xiumin I don't know how to say this but I- I fallen in love with you since the day I saw you around school a few weeks ago." Chen says still looking at me now holding on to both of my hands. 

I look back at Chen because I too have fallen in love with him. I can feel my face getting red as the seconds pass by. "Chen I-I think I also feel for a today when I saw you in the library today." I say also holding on to his hand. I swear my face is on fire right now. 

Chen looks at me with a wide open eyes that soon turn into a beautiful smile as he pulls me into a hug. At first I was surprised but then I automatically hugged back. Chen gave a small peck on my cheek. Which made me smile and turn more red than ever. 

"Xiumin you really are cute." Chen says as we start to let go from our hug. "I know that we just met but Xiumin would you do me the honor to be my boyfriend?" Chen looks directly for an answer. 

I  was shocked at first but soon I found my arms around Chen saying, "Chen yes I do want to be your boyfriend."  

"Oh thank goodness you ask yes Xiumin that makes me so happy" Chen says as he pulls me again into a hug that turned into a blissful kiss. 

Now this was a new start for us as we walk home hand in hand.
