Cream colored parchment shook in the grip of pale, alabaster fingers. Long, black nails nearly tore through the lines and cracks of the creases. Cherry red lips quivered as bright red eyes followed the arranged letters painted on the parchment. The arranged letters told Princess Veronica of the quantity of deaths reported for the past month. She sighed and allowed her muscles to loosen and relax. She turned and faced her secretary. "Does Akantha know about this? The Queen?" The secretary nodded and replied, "Yes my princess." Veronica walked over to the colossal glass window and gazed out to view the garden. "Why do the humans hate us so substantially?" She asked absentmindedly. Her thoughts raced. What if the humans find our castle? What if the humans force us to leave England? I couldn't possibly attack.. I'm striving for peace, not violence.. I want us to collaborate, not assassinate.
