I'm a Goddess?

                                                                  Prologue

A long time ago (about sixteen years) Hades and Aphrodite had a love affair.

Nobody knows how this affair came to be for they hated eachother very much. Or so everyone thought.

Aphrodite the goddess of beauty and love. And he mighty ruler of the underworld. Definetly not a match made in the heavens.

They met in they're secret room. It was in the underworld underneath Persephone's pomegranate garden.

It was the only place they could meet so no one would find out. Hades had it decorated the way Aphrodite wanted it to be.

There was lavish silky furniture and beautiful seashells everywhere. "Hades we can't keep doing this."

Aphrodite pulled away from his embrace. She avoided the loving gaze of his brown eyes.

"Yes we can my love. Are you still worried about the other Olympians finding out?" he tucked a golden lock behind her ear.

"Yes if Ares found out he'd be furious." she ran her fingers through his dark hair.

"I don't care what he thinks. Please don't end this we love eachother." he grabbed her hand and looked into her ocean green eyes.

"Well I do." Aphrodite pulled her hand away.

"No more Hades. I can no longer love you." she made her final decision.

She loved him, but not enough to risk being found out. Zeus would be mad enough to cast them both out of Olympus.

"Then get out."Hades ordered. "I beg your pardon.?" she wasn't expecting that answer. "I was the only who could see through your selfish conceited act. I'm the only one who loves you for you and not your beauty. I would have given you all of Olympus! I said get out!" he yelled angrily.

Aphrodite bowed her head and walked out of the secret room for the last time.

"As you wish."

A couple of months later Aphrodite found she was with child. Ashamed and embarrassed about what the other Olympians might have thought she decided to give up the baby.

She was going to send her down to earth to live amongst the mortals. Sophia, Aphrodite's old friend was chosen to care for the baby.

"Take care of my dear Colista, and remember that she musn't find out who or where she came from." She told Sophia.

Only the two of them would ever know that Hades was the real father.

"Make sure you give her this." Aphrodite handed her a an ivy colored tonic.

"Give this to the baby once you reach earth. It will bind her powers." Sophia took the tonic. "The baby will be taken care of as if she is my own." Sophia promised.

And with that Sophia and the child were cast down to earth to lead the lives of a mortals.
