Hello!
I know that I haven't finished the other story but since it will end soon, I decided to start another fanfic.
It is not RobRae or RobStar.
Sorry.
It is mainly Raven and Starfire.
Though, I haven't decided if they would be a couple or not.
But, I have had this idea for a long time but I haven't gotten around to actually write it because my love for RobRae forbid me to. (Teehee)
Also, I was afraid that people will not like this because it involves something that I, myself, loathe so much.
Which is a character's death.
So, that was my warning.
But, if you're interested in reading anyway, I hope you like it and please give me feedbacks. I would love to see your comments on it.
Okay, I'm rambling now.
Happy reading, folks!

Slade has done it.
He had finally conquer his dream, his ambition. It was a simple dream, to ruin Robin's life. He may or may not be alive but he had succeeded. Whether in the heavens or hell or in the face of this earth, he must've been proud of himself for he has done it at last.
It was just another day in Jump. None of the heroes would even thought that this would be the last normal day in their lifes. Even when the alarm blaring, they didn't even have the slightest clue of what about to happen. Not until, the death of their beloved leader, they finally realized that their lifes would never be the same again.
They were lost before him and now they're lost once again. Only the difference was they now know that they will never be found again.

"She's worth a handful, I tell ya!""Not a virgin but she was in that stinkin' hero group!"
The smell of cigarette and men's odor was becoming unbearable. The young woman with bright red hair tried her best to hold her breath. Even then, the unbearable stink escaped into her nose. Her emerald eyes were hollow as if her soul was drained out and all that's left was an empty shell.
"Waddya say?"
The woman visibly cringed. A part of her felt ashamed that she was taken as no more than a piece of property. But a part of her felt anger more than anything. She was once a great hero, a young woman that a lot of people look up to. Now, she was no more than a whore, a piece of trash.
"I'd say that you all deserve to rot in hell."
The young woman felt an utter shock as that voice was too familiar. She knew this voice, it was not one of her sleepless dreams or the voices she heard contantly.
Those filthy men looked around, petrified. "Show yourselves!" One of them yelled frantically. But then, screams were heard as blood were splattered everywhere. The sound were horrible but the young woman was all too familiar with it. Only moments after that she had realized that she was the only one left as the room grew terribly quiet.
Shaking, the young woman tried to take a step without making a sound. She was afraid that this person, who this person might be was going to kill her, too. She tried to keep her head down, hoping the attacker doesn't see her.
"Starfire."
The young woman was frozen in her tracks. It's been, what it felt like a lifetime, since anyone called her with that name. The name brought great memories but also a great trauma. She loved but also despised that name.
"I know that it's you."
Her fists were clenched so hard that her nail dugged into the skin on her palms. "Don't... don't call me that," she said. Her once sweet, angelic voice was replaced with a hoarse, barely unrecognizable voice that sounded foreign, even for her.
"Very well, Kori."
The figure came close to the young woman. The sound of heels clicking on the concrete floor were heard in the quiet room. But, the young woman didn't dare to move from her place. She could feel the presence only a few meters in front of her. Her head tilted upwards and her eyes met those familiar purple eyes.
"Raven," she said, barely above a whisper as she couldn't believe her eyes. "Am I dreaming? Or am I already dead?"
"No, you and I are both very much alive," the attacker answered. She let down her hoodie, revealing her long purple hair that matched her eyes. The other woman couldn't help but admire her beauty. In this moonlight, her eyes shone, so as did her pale complexion. Her plump lips were supple and was as pale for as long as she could remember.
"You grew out your hair," Kori, as she was called, commented with the slightest smile she could muster. "You always liked it short."
"People change," Raven replied. Her stare pierced through her heart. A wave of insecurity and shame washed all over her. She felt as if she was naked in front of her. Well, in her attire right now, she was as good as naked. Unconsciously, Kori crossed her cuffed hands in front of her as if she was trying to shield her stare from her. She darted her eyes to the floor beneath her, taking an interest to the filthy bloody concrete.
"Farewell, Kori." The sound of her cape with were heard as a sign that she was turning around and was followed by the sound of her heels clicking away.
Those emerald eyes widened in disbelief. She wanted to reach for her, to stop her but she couldn't move. It was as if her feet were planted on the ground. "Wait!" She yelled with all the strength she could gather. The sound of heels clicking stopped as do the woman's steps. "Please," Kori said, her lips quevering. "Please don't leave me."
For as long as she thought, she couldn't cry anymore. But she was proven wrong as she felt tears rolling down her cheeks. "Don't leave me, please. I beg you."
The other woman stood still. Her eyes were fixed on the darkness in front of her. She was a dear friend, a friend that she never thought she deserved. But, that girl, like herself, was not the girl she used to know. Everything has changed, including her. But, this was once the girl that was close to her heart, that would do anything to make her smile. Does this woman still has that girl inside of her?
"Come."

The place was exactly as Kori had imagined. It was dark and minimal, but very elegant at the same time. A couch leaning against the wall, with a small TV hanging on the wall across it. A small kitchen with a bar on the end of the room that was separated with a magnificent sculpture. A short hallway on the other end of the room that probably leads to the bedroom. Very simple, just like her dear friend, Raven.
"You can sleep on the couch since I don't have a guest bedroom. The bathroom is at the end of the hall on the right. On the left is my office. Never set your foot in it unless it'a absolutely necessary. I don't cook unless I have too so feel free to use the kitchen. Any questions?"
Kori took in her surroundings. Just by knowing that this is all belong to her dear friend Raven makes her tear up. She was finally safe and sound. She was finally with someone she knows and love dearly. She was finally home.
"Thank you."

That is all, folks!
So, tell me what you think. Is it bad? Should I just forget this or should I continue writing?
