I am really enjoying writing this story, so here is a new chapter hope you guys enjoy it.

Chapter 45

I got down to the garage by my car and I was seriously breathing hard.  I have never been this winded before, guess I better get to walking so this baby don’t blow me up and kick me out of shape.

I sat down in the car closed the door and started the car.  I had to sit there for a good ten minutes before I could back out of my parking space.  I was on my way to subway when my phone rang.  I looked at the caller ID and the screen read private.  I laid the phone back down and continued on my way to get my lunch.

The phone rang again, still with the number listed as private.  I ignored the call and turned up the radio to listen to my jam by Charlie Wilson, There goes my baby…I love that song, Charlie been around for a minute and he still turning out hits.

I made it to subway and went through the drive thru and ordered me a foot long philly steak and cheese with American cheese, banana peppers, lettuce, spinach leaves, onions, green peppers with sweet onion sauce.  I added two peanut butter cookies and a large sweet tea with extra ice.

Once I got home, I went upstairs and changed my clothes.  I put on my favorite sweat pants and a t-shirt, headed back downstairs and took my food into the family room sat down and started devouring my sandwich.

I felt like such a little pig, but I was so hungry.  I turned on the tv and started watching Real Housewives of Atlanta and stuffing my face.  I was so full, damn I am going to have to work out while I’m pregnant, don’t want the extra pounds to go to my hips.

When I ate the last piece of my peanut butter cookie, I felt so sleepy and was ready for a nap.  I think I can get used to being pregnant, I just hope the morning sickness would go away.

I woke up about three hours later and got up and took a shower, and called Shaun.  I dialed his number and waited for him to pick up.

“Hello?”

“Hi Shaun, this is Nikki.”

“Hey what’s up?”

"I need you to come over I have something I need to talk to you about.”

“Is everything ok?”

“Yeah, everything is fine I just need to talk to you, and I would like to do it in person.”

"Ok I will be over in about 10 minutes."

"Ok that sounds good."

I hung up the phone and went to lie on the couch waiting for Shaun to get to my house.  I guess I must have dozed off because I felt my phone vibrating against my stomach.  I picked up the phone and answered it.

Hello?

"Nikki, it’s Shaun, I’m outside."

"I’m sorry, hold on I’m coming right now."

"I got up off the couch and went to open the door."

"Hey stranger."

"Hey Nikki how are you doing?"

"I’m good Shaun what about you?"

I’m doing really good; just busy packing up my apartment, getting ready to move down with my dad."

"Oh?  When did you decide you needed to move in with him? "

"When the doctor called and said he had a mini stroke and he was going to need someone home with him especially at night.  I didn’t want to burden my sisters with that job because they have their husbands and children to take care of and since I’m single I just thought it was best if I moved in with him."
