When Sirius returned back from his mission in Spain for the Order of the Phoenix, he was looking forward to many things. seeing Prongs and Evans, spoiling his godson and enjoying a pint at the pub with Wormtail.

There was however one thing that Sirius was looking forward to most and that was spending time with his Moony. So when the werewolf had taken a day of from work the day after his arrival, Sirius was over the moon (literally ;) ). Remus Lupin had insisted on a day dedicated to movies, hot chocolate and cuddles, which he all suggested in brash confidence due to his high spirits after a few bottles of butterbeer shared between friends the previous night.

The day started with breakfast in bed which was burnt and lacked overall seasoning yet Sirius' taste buds had become numb from his time away and were very biased when it came to his boyfriends cooking. His boyfriend was never an excellent cook, which had been proved time and time again after their years in Hogwarts. However the fact that Moony had woken up early to make this for him, Sirius was filled with only joy. After finishing his slightly disastrous breakfast Sirius made his way towards the living room in their small apartment which connected to their even smaller kitchen where the other half of its residents was making mugs of tea.

Sprawled across the sofa, the boys, entangles in the mass of their own legs and other limbs, chose Lord of the Rings to watch throughout the day. The Fellowship of the Ring was the first movie Sirius had ever seen. Coming from a pure blood family and then being raised by another pure blood family slimmed his chances of ever watching a film yet his chance came in the form of Sirius and Remus' 'first date'. Sirius had been so enthralled with what he thought to be magic that he hadn't paid any attention to Remus which he still regrets to this day however Remus couldn't care any less because he got to watch the person who he had seen battered and bruised by life genuinely smile for the first time in a long time, and that's all that mattered to him.

Many discussion were held during the movie including the more homey details to Sirius' time in Spain and they got onto the subject of beverages.

"...and they had this amazing coffee Moonshine, it was so bitter and warm. They even put liquors in it!" Sirius was excitedly explaining the coffee served to him in various parts of Spain with wild hand gestures, almost knocking Remus' glasses off. Remus' only response was a deep chuckle as he buried his face further into the excited mans hair. "That's nice dear."

Sirius leaned back into him and placed his hand on the side Remus' face and sighed. It was only a couple of days away from the full moon and this made Remus very tired and his bones ached. Sirius kissed the spot where his hand had previously been and got up from the sofa. he watched Remus curl into himself among the many cushions on the sofa. Satisfied with Remus' comfort, Sirius made his way to the kitchen and made himself a cup of coffee and a mug of tea for Remus.

Back in the living room, Sirius placed their mugs on the coffee table and crouched down so he was level with Remus. He brushed his hands through the blond curly mess on top of his sleeping boyfriends head and leaned towards his face kissing his for head. This is what he had missed the most on his missions. Simply just seeing Remus at peace which was not expression often worn by him.

"They may put Liquor in their coffee," Sirius whispered into Remus' hair. "but they don't make it like you do Moony."
