Wait a minute, I never asked Delilah where she was going...but that would be weird. But just following her is weirder...Ugh. Have I really failed already? I down my hot chocolate and nibble on what's left of my soggy marshmallows. I'd better call my ride.

After a series of whistles and 'here boys' Billy shows up, "Billy, you're late. Again!". He revs the engine in response, I need to book an appointment with that technician, now is not the time to be late.

"Are...are you talking to your bike?" a familiar voice sniggers behind me.

"Delilah? you're still here after...12 minutes? You're not planning on keeping him waiting now, are we?"

"The Uber is taking its time...do you really think he'd actually be waiting?" wonder traces in her voice and i make a sly grin when an idea pops into thought.

"Hop on, let's find out if he's actually waiting." her face, at first, seemed very shocked but it slowly eased into a big grin.

"How could i ever repay you?!" handing her the extra helmet i carried I replied,

"Free hot chocolate? with marshmallows of course." her silence made me laugh aloud and i rev the engine, beginning our journey to 'Florences Restaurant'.

*Florences Restaurant*

"Delilah! You're late... and with another guy." a tall guy, about 17 years of age, stands up and clenches his jaw. "Care to explain?"

"The Uber you sent for me never arrived quick enough, Toby here was kind enough to offer a ride. You weren't waiting to long, right?" the boldness in her response made me think that it really was okay to show up with another guy on your date, as well as being late. It really wasn't though..

Her rude date scoffs, "Nah I was just waiting for 22 minutes, going on 23. Are you going to stand there and watch us or will you leave? Gosh Delilah do you not trust your date that much that you got yourself a body guard? One that you don't even know??" Delilah looks down and a burning pit opens in my stomach. "You know what forget the food, let's go straight to my place yeah..Oh and don't worry Tori I have a car, she won't need a ride." What a...

"If you had a car why didn't you just pick her up. Why go through the extra mile to order an uber, which never turned up. And i'd be grateful for me being there, if she'd been in that alleyway any longer than god knows what any creep with sick intentions would have done."

"You mean a sick creep like you? And Delilah i told you the Arcade not alleyway. Jesus, making me seem bad. Just go to the car, now!", sick creep? Well now that i view the circumstances....but i'm only 19.

"You know, Antonio, maybe you'd ought to have some respect for me. You know i hurt easily..." Delilah had tears forming in her eyes.

"You're just a sket though." My hands unintentionally balled up into fists.

"Antonio..." before she could say anything Antonio had grabbed her arm and dragged her out to his car. My instincts were telling me that Antonio didn't want a date and what he does do will ruin her entirely, inducing her suicidal thoughts. He wants her life and i have to save her. My job is too save her. I didn't wait longer, i couldn't. I dart out to Billy and he instantly knows where i want to go, at least i can rely on him for one thing.

Billy follows Antonio's car, hes unaware of me for now. I let go of the handle bars and prepare my already cut fists for a fight, before Billy closes the gap between us and Antonio I kiss my mothers necklace. It's a thing I've always done when I end up in life threatening situations, it feels as though im kissing her to say goodbye...or hello.

"Oh, it's you again. Listen, old man, she's 16. She doesn't want you. Why are you still following us mate?" i grit my teeth, the whispers were back.

"You're going to beat her up as a 'joke' and end up killing her dumbass." i kept this to myself, saying the sentence in my head rather than aloud.

"Back off! You're ruining my date night." I fade out from what he's saying and see Delilah taped up in the backseat, her eyes are wide and she looks petrified. I don't know how but I managed to get a message across, telling her to open the door and trust me enough for her to jump out. She nods and I smirk. "Oi! Are you even listening? And what are you smirking at?"

"You still haven't realised because you've been rambling so long, i zoned out and now the girl you've kidnapped is riding on the back of this motorcycle, soon they'll be heading to a police station but before they go how about you and me have a little fun?" I didn't give him time to respond before throwing a punch, it made impact with his jaw and it was sure to leave a bruise.

"Who are you?" he spits out blood.

"Well...where I'm from they call me a Reaper. Like the grim reaper. And as for you, I won't kill you but perhaps your cell mates will." Smirking, I repetitively punch him with one hand as the other grips on the roof to keep balance, if I couldn't take his life then I'll certainly make his life painful.

In around 15 seconds, the police will be here. We've called them from your cell. You'll never get into contact with Delilah again, not until we've freed you anyway. - Boss.

"I guess the fun is over, goodbye." I let go off the roof and do a rolly-polly onto the side of the road. I hop onto Billy who I saw politely waiting at the side of the rode without Delilah. "Take me home, Bill." We ride around the corner, curiosity really wasn't going to let me leave this crime scene without knowing exactly what happened.

"Antonio?!...I am disappointed, angry.." Deputy Ray sighs, "Anything you say and do can and will be used against you, please be escorted sensibly... God Antonio..." Deputy Ray put the cuffs onto Antonio and they walk in a pitiful silence towards the blazing red and blue light from his police car. He gently presses Antonio's head down into the vehicle and off the sick teenager went. I wonder what Delilah had said that convinced them to arrest him, especially since the crime hadn't really taken place yet.

While his face is going to be all over the tv I'm 1 rescue down and 14 more to freedom. Lets hope the rest are this easy.

The whispers words repeated in my head and I realise, Delilah can't even thank me for saving her life. Not that I need that ego boost but it just feels wrong for someones hero to just vanish from their life, without a trace. Just a name and a face she has to remember..soon she may think I was just a dream. A very real dream.

But this is just the start of this feeling.
