How can he think this was all my fault?
Tomika is the one who just wants all the attention. You know, I would've been okay with not being the band's singer and still being Tomika's friend.
But nope, she had the nerve to ask me to continue being her voice! Are you for real?!
"Hey Summer," I hear someone say. I jump a little and turn around.
"Oh, hey Freddy. You scared me." I giggle a little. He smiled and looked to the ground. Hm, weird.
"Well, uh...just wanted to tell you that Tomika wanted to meet with you in the cafeteria." He said and looked at me.
Oh his eyes are so pretty.
And his hair. Oh lord, don't get me started on his hair...
"Oh, uh..thanks Freddy." I smile at him and he returns the smile.
I walk to the cafeteria when I hear someone pacing back and forth. I open the door and see Tomika was the one pacing.
"You wanted to talk to me?" I interrupt. She turns around, takes a deep breath, and walks closer to me.
"I wanted to apologize for the way I was acting. I was being selfish and I didn't realize I was hurting you. I guess I did want all the spotlight and I'm such a bad friend." She says and hangs her head down.
Wow. Now that I think about it, I was acting just like Tomika. I wanted all the spotlight I never got, so I betrayed her and starting acting rude to her. Well, actually she made me mad but that's besides the point.
"I forgive you. And, I'm sorry too. I guess I just wanted some of the spotlight, that I forgot what's more important." I smile and give her a big hug.
It's nice to have my best friend back. At least now I have someone to talk to...

"Mr. Finn, we decided that I'll be singing and Tomika will be playing the bass. And also my backup singer." I inform him.
The whole team decided that we should do this and we all agreed that we are all rockstars and being in a band means sharing the spotlight.
"Okay then. Well, let's rock!"
