Chapter 19

Esmè's POV

I put on my white lace bra with my matching panties and put on my red 6 inch heels. I curled my hair in multiple ringlets and I did some dark make up. I put on my foundation, I did a smokey eye technique with a thin line of eye-liner on each eye. I put on my mascara that make my eyes look darker than usual.

I walked out and saw my black trench coat and put it on.

I'm ready for work with all those horny teenage boys, men in their twenties and forties. Most of them just for the show. Last week, like came in there just to watch me.

Tonight is gonna be busy.

~At The Strip Club~

I went to my pole and saw my friend Ally that I've gotten to know these past couple months.

I feel that I can trust her more than I can trust lily.

"You ready babes?" Ally asked.

"Ready as I'll ever be." I breathed out.

Our boss opened the door and guys rushed in.
We girls started dancing around the poles to the song 'Say Something' by A Great Big World ft. Christina A.

One boy caught my eye.

Austin.

What the hell is he doing here?!
I continued to dance around the pole and austin was watching me intently.

He was just sipping swigs of beer from his beer bottle and he looked like he undressing me with his eyes.

Oh. Ok then.

~2 hours later~

We took a break and we all heard the guys shouting and pleading for us to come back.

"Damn, they need to chill." One girl named Sadie said.

"For Real." We all said in unison.

"So Esmè, who was that boy practically undressing you with his eyes a couple hours ago?" Ally asked.

We all sat around on the leather couches while the girls were giving me full attention.

"Um, that's my ex Austin." I said

"Oh my, he wants you, we could tell." They all chuckled.

I giggled.
"So , what's up with you and the styles man?" Another girl asked.

"Yeah um, we've been dating for about 4 months." I said.

"Unbelievable." Sadie said.

I furrowed my eyebrows.
"Huh?" I questioned.
"One time last year, he came here, eyes bloodshot, tear stains on his face, hair all over the place. Yeah, he took me to the back room. We were half naked when he started crying." Sadie explained.

HE WAS CRYING?! Why?!

"Why was he crying?" I asked.

"He said that he felt terrible for what he's done. He never meant to hurt her and he wishes she would forgive him because he was completely in love with her." Sadie continued.

"Who is 'her' ?" I asked.
"Some girl he used to bully back in high school." She said.

Ally's head snapped in my direction.

I slightly shook my head as to tell her not to say a damn word.

"Um, I need to go." I said awkwardly.
"Why?" Sadie asked.

"Um, I've got company coming over
tonight. And um, I need to um, clean the apartment." I tied my trench coat and walked out.

I put the £400 I made tonight in my pocket and walked out only to be stopped by Austin.

He pushed me up against the wall and pinned my wrists above my head.

"I want you, so bad." He said seductively.

I pushed him back and looked at him in disbelief.

"Austin, I've got a boyfriend."

"He could never treat as well I as could." He smirked.

I stomped away and to my car.
I got in and drove to my apartment.

I fumbled with my keys and tears brimmed my eyes.

I dropped my keys and I huffed.
"Ugh!"

I bent down to pick them up. The door swung open and and I laid my eyes on a brown pair of boots.

I looked up and saw Harry with a pissed expression.

"Where the hell were you?!" He yelled.
I stood up and pushed past him.

I saw lily sitting on the couch and I immediately widened my eyes.
"Why are you doing here?" I questioned.

"I need to tell you something." She cried.
That's when I noticed the tear stains on her cheeks.
"I came here to tell Harry but since you're both here I should tell you." She choked.

I sat down an Harry stood standing.

"Two days ago, Luke and I broke up. And that's because I found out that he was in love with someone else." She explained.

"Yeah, he came here to tell me that but we were.........interrupted before he could me who." I looked at Harry when I said 'interrupted'

"You." Lily said.

I furrowed my eyebrows an so did Harry.
"Huh?" Harry questioned.

"You , Esmè, he's in love with you." Lily said.

"WHAT?!" Harry and I shouted at the same time.

Lily sobbed and I comforted her.

Harry looked pissed.
He grabbed his keys and phone and walked to the door.

"Harry, where are you going?" I stood.

"Next time you see Luke, he may have cuts and bruises , possibly a broken limb." I spit.

My eyes widened.

"No." I said bluntly.

"He needs to learn he's not going to have my girl." Harry stomped off.
