"Did you sleep well at Ashley's?" Asked my mother. Oh yes, I slept very well with a giant, f*cking Giratina in the damn basement. "Yeah...." I answer blankly. I was still a bit tired, which is totally understandable when something like that happens.

"Your sisters, your Father and I are going away for a few days. You better not make a mess, are you listening Jonathan?" "Eh what?" I was only partly listening, my mind was on other things. "I might just go to Sara or Ashley's house" I finally reply.

"You've seen these two all day yesterday!"

"So?"

"Suit yourself, we're leaving right now"

"Okay, bye"

Five minutes later, the where gone. Good, I have more freedom to do what I want. I take out my laptop and search on information about Giratina. According to legends, it was banished to the reverse world because of its violence. It's also part of the creation trio, along with Dialga and Palkia. There wasn't much else though, it rarely leaves the reverse world, so there's few information, and even fewer witnesses.

I lean against the back of my chair, this is getting nowhere. Frustrated, I close my laptop and go get a glass of milk. A noise makes me jump, thankfully, its just the texting noises on my Ipod. Sara, she just texted.

"Can I not get a break?" I text back

"Sorry"

"I don't want to talk about Giratina"

"Oh please no, especially not on something that can be hacked. People can track these texts, its not safe"

"I'll bet twenty dollars that Ashley thought you that"

"Pffft NO"

"Lol, im going to the spring, go there if you actually want to talk"

"Sure thing, cya later"

I close the chat and make sure to set my status to 'offline'. I don't want people calling or texting me. "Dratini!" The pokemon sang while slithering in circles. "Return" I mutter as the dragon type returns to it pokeball. I put on my jacket and boots, thankfully, the weather outside wasn't as cold as yesterday.

The spring, its a little river pretty much. Loads of pokemon gather there, any season, any temperature, any time of day. Its one of the only wild fresh water sources in or near our village. But then again, our village is pretty damn small.

Some of the snow had melted and froze again, creating a rather thick sheet of ice, making moving around dificult. Mostly everyone was using their pokemon to go around, and anyone who could fly was happy to.

A loud noise on my right took me out of my daydreaming. It sounded like a small explosion or a loud impact noise. Curious, I go in the direction of the noise. "Blaziken, Overheat!" I hear a distinct, male voice. Oh, a pokemon battle, we rarely get those out in the open like this. Most of the time when we have one, there is usually a bunch more following for about four hours. Trainers here like to battle, although we almost always hate to be the firsts to do so. Don't ask me, its always been like this, once the original battle is over, A LOT more follow.

There was quite a crowd around, not surprising. I recognized the boy owning the Blaziken, he's in my grade, but i have quite forgotten his name. From my angle i couldn't see the opposing trainer, nor his or her pokemon, for now anyways. "FireFly, Dragon Claw!" wait... FireFly?

The flygon flew a couple meters upwards, then charged at the fire type, her claws ready. "Hey is that Ashley in an actual pokemon battle?" Asked a VERY familliar voice behind me, making me jump. "Shouldn't you be at at the spring?" I ask in surprise. Sara shrugged, then looked at the battle in interest.
