▪Maybe it's just a world in our head.
~ Ash▫Ash's pov
"Hey Ash, do you have the blanket?"
"Yah, how's our Angelo doing?"
"She's doing well, I can't wait. Aren't you excited Ash?"
"Well taking care of a baby girl isn't the easiest thing ever Elizabeth."
"True, but I'm sure we'll be able to care for our baby girl just fine."
"I'm sure we will, I'd be there every step of the way."
"I hope we can live a long while, even with our luck, we still deserve a happy daughter right?"
"Honey, have you ever thought, maybe it's just a world in our heads?"
"Huh? Did you say something?"
"Oh no nothing."▫A year later▪
Elizabeth's pov
"Twinkle twinkle little star,
How I wonder what you are,
Like a diamond up so high,
Bodies in coffins cannot lie,
Twinkle twinkle little star,
How I wonder what you are."I stared at this baby girl that Ash promised he would take care of with me, her wavy brown hair was frizzy and tangled, her olive skin was covered in dirt and grime, her golden eyes had lost it's glow, her arms were skinny and weak, is this what Ash was talking about? Is this the rocky road that would lead her to a bright path? I surely hope so.
The little girl in my arms began to wiggle around and her eyes, or rather eye opened. She had my brown eyes but my husband's brown hair instead of my blond locks.
I need to make a decision, for me and my Angelo. And I need to make it now.
With that I left her there while she cried and ran away, to somewhere other than here.
I saw a light, and with that light I had only one thought, my dear we are finally together. I died with a smile on my face.
This is the end then...
