It was a fierce war. A war to end the world, in fact.
The sky was fiery and polluted, everything was smoking and decaying, and if it wasn't decaying, it was already dead.
Years has passed, and Donald Trump has started the last war being president. World War Three....
Ciel and Sebastian now walked the streets of death, carrying nothing on their shoulders, having clear consciousnesses.
Nothing was on their minds. They've been alive for two centuries, traveling wherever they could, and that was fine with them.
Ciel had forgotten what it was like to be human, to have feelings, yet was that a bad thing?
Sebastian had excepted Ciel as a demon, liking to have him as an equal companion. Ciel was more mature now, knowing he could live forever, might as well learn everything.
But even learning everything wasn't fun anymore, especially with this fucked up society nowadays.
Famines, pollution, Mother Nature's wrath, and worse Donald Trump was ruining the economy, it didn't affect them whatsoever. Wherever they went though, it was always fiery.
They always walked, going nowhere, making themselves ironic. But one day, Ciel stopped walking.
"Master?" Sebastian asked.
"I don't understand," Ciel said, looking at the reddened sky.
"Don't understand what?"
"How you demons live. It's sickening. We're watching the world die, without a care or feeling of love."
"Demons don't have feelings, master."
"Have you...ever fallen in love before?" Ciel asked.
"Once, yes. But she was a mortal, and after her death, I moved on. Love is illogical and a waste of my time. Only humans love," Sebastian said.
Ciel remembered going to Lizzie's funeral, and not feeling anything. Yet, it still made him sad, but he moved on after the funeral ended within a few hours.
She would've died anyways, is what went through Ciel's mind that day.
"Haven't you, master?" Sebastian asked. Ciel blushed. "No, I don't much care for it anyhow," he said in a low voice.
Sebastian nodded.
"It's just...how can we live for eternity? Without love? How can we stand to be such monsters?!" Ciel asked, and grabbed his blue hair in frustration.
"Tell me a single person who'd ever love a demon such as you and I," Sebastian said.

"Have you ever...had feelings for me?" Ciel asked, and Sebastian looked straight into his uncovered red eye.
"Sir, I have been your noble pawn since day one. I highly doubt that I was more to you than you were to me. But yes, at some times, I really wanted to protect you."
"Did you ever consider that I maybe...just maybe...think of you as more than a pawn?" Ciel seemed to be wording everything he said carefully, his voice was hoarse but hopeful.
"Whatever do you mean?"
Now Sebastian was confused. Ciel surely wasn't...
No; he was.
Ciel began to walk towards the demon a little more, and he didn't seem to want to say anything. But once he hugged Sebastian, all his feelings poured out.
"That day, when we made our contract, I always thought you'd try to be like everyone else; shapeless and had no demeanor. That our contract would be over within a second. But no. Over the years, I had actually thought of you as my way out of hell. And yet I'm now a live demon. It's ironic, to say the least. I've had feelings for you for a long time. Do you...have feelings for me, too?"
For the first time in years, Sebastian Michaelis was speechless. He didn't know what to say to his lovestruck master.
What could he say?
"That feeling...I would've thought of it to have surpassed long ago, but I feel as if.... Love is real. And I may....be feeling it for you, master," Sebastian said.
What was going on?
Had his master, a demon, Ciel Phantomhive, really spill out his feelings, and Sebastian Michaelis returned it?!
Ciel smiled.
Months went by, Donald Trump was assassinated by a girl with curly hair and who is writing this story right now, and the war ended. Everyone was alive and healthy, found a new way to turn pollution into good oxygen and healthy water, and life was restored.
As for Ciel and Sebastian? Well, only things meant to be last forever, and stay together :)
(Ugh, sounds cheesier than two large cheese pizzas.)
