Oh my gosh. OH MY GOSH. No.... No no no!! This can't be happening! I can't be a siren!
Oh my gosh, if I'm a siren, I am meant to lure people out to sea with my songs and- KILL THEM. Noooooooooo I'm not a bad siren!
"No, please! I'm not a siren, I'm NOT! I'm not evil!" I yell between tears.
"Not all sirens are bad," mother says, trying to cheer me up.
"In every story I've read about them all sirens were bad! That must be why you abandoned me as a baby!" still upset I run out of the room before she can try to give me a ridiculous explanation.
-BEACH NOON-
I ran to the beach, not caring it was the last place I wanted to go, anywhere but that horrid castle. Still, how can I be a siren? I just want this evil life to go away, I don't want to be an evil siren! I'm not evil, I swear I'm not! I just want to go home!
Oh my gosh, this could be all a nightmare! I pinch myself- HARD. It doesn't work. Who am I kidding? This isn't a nightmare, it's 100% real.
Dinnertime, at least something normal, right? WRONG. So very WRONG. So apparently, my dad, Orion, has a friend from high school, and something happened between them and now we need to get peace between the kingdoms.
How, you ask? Well, turns out, they had a son. His name is Jackson. Yep, I bet you guessed it!

I

HAVE

TO

MARRY

HIM.

Great way to ruin my life! Make me marry someone I don't even know, when I want to spend my life with Jason, we planned to have so many kids, watch them grow up! Now we can't all because of this dumb betrothal!
"I need to be excused," I say before pushing out of my chair and running to my room.
I stare at myself in the mirror of my bedroom, wondering why of all people, why me? This mirror os the exact size as me, it's very big, of course I am rather small for sixteen. Anyways, it's actually kind of creepy, but I know I shouldn't be scared of it.
I shed a tear, thinking of how horrible my life would become.
"Why are you crying?" a voice asks suddenly, startling me.
"Wh-Who said that?"
"I did! Turn to the mirror dear," the voice says. I turn to the mirror to see a lovely girl in my mirror. IN MY MIRROR!
"Why are you in my mirror?" I ask in surprise.
"I can't tell you that yet, but please, do not be afraid of me, and tell me why you are crying!" the girl in the mirror says.
"Long story," I say.
"I've got time!" she says, gesturing for me to spill.
So I tell her the entire story.
"Oh my word. That's a sad story," she says, I notice she has shed a few tears.
"Do you mind telling me who you are?"
"Oh! Of course," she says drying her eyes. "My name is Lily, I have been here for many, many years."
"Why don't you leave?" I ask.
"The curse," Lily says simply
"What curse? I'll break it!" I say.
"That's very kind of you," she says, her eyes brimming with tears. "But I'm afraid not even you, the strongest fairy on earth, could undo this curse."
"Me? The strongest fairy on earth?" I say in disbelief.
"Yes," she simply says as she starts disappearing.
"Where are you going?" I ask.
"Home," she says, giving me a small smile. And with that, she disappears.
Wow, I can't believe there's a person stuck inside my mirror! How did she get on my mirror in the first place? Why can't she get out? Who cursed her? So many questions to be answered!
Anyways, back to Prince Jackson. Who is he? Is he nice, nerdy, or a complete jerk? Will I love him more or less than I love Jason? Hmm... Jason and Jackson. Very similar names. I have to meet this Jackson in a couple days, we're supposed to dance the first waltz when we meet. Yeah, whatever. I cannot ballroom dance. I will not ballroom dance.

Well, the day has come. The day I HAVE to waltz with Prince Jackson. I have yet to meet him, and I'm in this super itchy gown and tiara, like, why do I have to wear this? It's tight, the tiara itches like heck, and I so don't want to do this.
Ok, the prince has arrived, and boy is he cute! But I have to remember, I love Jason.
"Princess Melissa," he says, bowing.
"Prince Jason," I reply, resisting to roll my eyes while curtsying politely.
We begin to waltz, he is a good dancer! I'm not doing bad myself either. We talk, we get close, we find out we were both super nervous to meet each other.
"So, how are you feeling about this betrothal, Prince Jackson?" I ask.
"A little overwhelmed to be honest, it just kind of came up, one day I'm minding my own business, and my dad tells me I'm getting married," he replies.
Seems a lot like how I found out... Do we have more in common than I thought? No, probably not. Right? We continue to waltz, I am beginning to feel dizzy, and I am starting to step on his toes with my heels. He doesn't complain though.
"Here," he says gently, "stand still for a minute."
"Okay," I reply, wondering what he could possibly be doing.
He bends down and gently whispers for me to lift my left foot and lean on him, I do. He takes my left heel off, then asks me to do the same for my right foot, he then takes off my right shoe.
"Step up on my feet and follow me lead," he whispers.
I do so, I am dancing on top of his feet with no shoes on, I have to wonder, does he have feelings for me?
     {Jackson's point of view}
A/N: You will get a few other peoples' points of view at certain times of the story, tuis is one of those times.
She dances beautifully. Even though she stepped on my toes countless numbers of times, I can't get angry at her. She is beautiful, and just her voice, it's lovely! Everything about her is perfect! Including her powers...
     {End of Jackson's point of view}

Phew! He's gone! Or, at least in the guest room.
