The Next Morning

Jade's POV

I stretched my arms out, expecting my sleeping beautiful girlfriend to lay in my arms, but instead I was greeted by emptiness. I opened one eye to see she was sat at the edge of the bed.

"Lauren?" I said gently as I shuffled towards her and wrapped an arm around her waist. She quickly stood up and crossed her arms. "Babe?" I asked concerned.

"I'm going to go make some food." Is all she replied with as she walked out of the bedroom.

Have I done something wrong? I don't remember doing anything to upset her, if she's hurting I need to find out what because seeing her hurt, breaks my heart. I love this girl with all my heart.

I throw the covers off of me and shiver slightly and the sudden coldness surrounding my body. Before I follow Lauren, I go into the bathroom and brush my teeth, I know she won't allow me to kiss her otherwise.

Once I've finished, I grab my jumper that's hanging off my closet door and quickly put it on before following Lauren into the living room.

She has her back turned to me and the rest of the girls are acting like nothing's happening. Feeling eyes on me, I turn my attention to Ally who is looking at me sadly.

"She always gets like this, day before touring. She misses her friends and family alot."

"Aw...Lauren." I say as I walk up behind her and hug her from behind. She turns around in my arms and hugs me back.

I start to rub her back gently and she sighs as she rests her head on my neck.

"It's just so hard...I mean being on vacation away from family and friends is okay because it ends...But touring seems to last forever. I love it. I love performing for the Harmonizers but I miss everyone so much." She says her voice breaking slightly showing she's crying.

I press a kiss on the top of her head but all she seems to do is cling on to me tighter. I gently squeeze her. I just wish there was a way to show her how much I love her, a way to cheer her up...Words can't describe what I feel for her.

Maybe I should propose to her.

No, we haven't been dating that long plus I'm still too young.

Everything seems to be so quiet except for Lauren's sniffles every now and then, but a loud knock at the door makes me jump.

"COME ON OPEN UP! QUICKLY!!"

Camila races to the door and opens it up to see a tired out Dani and Amy.

Lauren pulls away from the hug and faces the door, I keep my arm around her waist as I turn to face the two sisters.

"Jade you gotta come quick, Lauren just broke up with Luke and he's locked them in their room and we can't get in." Amy says quickly.

"I'm scared he's gonna hurt her." Dani say trying to catch her breath.

"She's not my problem." I say pulling my girlfriend closer.

"Jay I know you can be a mean bitch at times but damn, what if he rapes her? These girls came to you. Asking you to help and you don't care." Dinah says getting annoyed with me.

"Okay." I sigh and quickly grab my shoes by the bedroom and slip them on before following Amy and Dani to wherever they're staying.

As we're running, I start to feel guilty what if does rape her and I can't stop it? It'll be my fault. I swear if he touches her and hurts her I'll fucking kill him!

I push my legs to run faster, not caring that my chest is starting to hurt due to lack of air getting into my lungs from pushing myself too hard.

"Here, second floor, room 105." Amy says as she stops running.

I continue to run in the hotel, not bothering to take the lift...Or elevator...As I reach the second floor I hear alot of shouting.

"Move." I growl pushing my way past staff and the rest of the girls. I hit the door with my shoulder but it doesn't move. "You and you." I say looking at two members of staff. "Help me."

They nod their heads quickly, and as we use all our strength I hear crying and I let out a loud growl as we finally get through the door.

My eyes land on Lauren who is on the bed, Luke above her just wearing her underwear.

"You sick bastard." I snap.

He turns his attention to me but before he can react I tackle him and begin to throw punches at his face. I don't hear anything. I don't see anything apart from his bloody face as I continue to punch him.

I'm eventually pulled off and I feel arms wrap around me.

"You shouldn't have done that." Luke says as he spits blood out of his mouth.

"YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE DONE THAT!" I yell as I try to lunge at him again but the arms around me keep me still.

The two members of staff thay helped with the door, grab him by both arms and escort him out. I turn my attention to Lauren but it turns out she's the one holding me.

"Thank you." She says, tears still streaming down her face.

"I'm never ever leaving you again." I say getting on my knees and turning around. "You were my friend once and I want you to be my friend again."

I see hurt in her eyes and I know why, but I can't help that I don't feel anything romantically for her anymore.

She nods her head and rests her head on my shoulder and I wrap my arms around her, hugging her tightly. I look up to see her sisters crying and smiling.

I lock eyes with Lisa who mouths a 'thank you' to me. They don't need to thank me...Even though I said it wasn't my problem I still would have come. I'm always going to protect her. Always.
