IMPORTANT: This chapter roughly goes through a few key points of how Sammy grows up over the years. HE GROWS AT A DIFFERENT RATE THAN NORMAL CHILDREN SO DON'T GET CONFUSED!!! Why he grows this way will be exlained later in the chapter.

There is mild language in this chapter, just to warn you. I'm sorry if you are offended by parenting reactions made by Peter and Kaytee, but this is how I envisioned they would react. If you have any questions or are confused, I won't mind at all if you ask.

Anyway, I don't own Peter Pan, the Lost Boys, Neverland, ect. ect. ect.

They are Sir J. M. Barrie's.

I present to you, chapter one of the sequel!!!

His looks, her skills.

The baby weeks:

Daddy Daddy Daddy! Look what I found! Look it! Look it!”

I ran across the squishy wet sand, jumping into my father's waiting arms. He grinned at me as I showed him the blue, curling shell I found in the waves.

Wow Sammy! That's a nice one! Good job. Now go find another!” he cheered before setting me back down. I giggled and ran into the water, trying to grab the minuscule fish in the shallows. A glint in the water caught my eye and I bent down to grab it as the water drew back.

A small white shiny ball was lying inside an open shell, the soft pink bed it was set upon felt mushy. I smiled and turned back around, running towards my mother and father sitting on the sand watching me.

Mommy! I found something for you! It's pretty.” I said gleefully, crawling in her lap. She smiled as I held out the shell.

Why Sammy, I think you've found a purl! It's beautiful, thank you baby.” She said, pecking my cheek. I giggled again and nodded, a yawn escaping me before I sluggishly got back up.

Oh no you don't mister, it's nap time.” Dad said, pulling me back down into his lap. I tried to fight back, but fatigue over came me. He stood up, me still in his arms, cradling me lovingly. I yawned again as Mommy kissed my head. I turned my head into his chest, trying to block out the shining sun staring high up in the brilliant cloudless sky.

'Love you, Daddy.” I murmured quietly, not even sure he heard it. I felt his lips brush my curly hair, a smile evident in his low voice as I drifted to sleep.

I love you too, Sammy.”
