CRASH! A scream was heard from the other room as Layla and Jude came running in. "I'm so sorry!" Layla immediately ran up to the box that laid on the ground. Sighing in relief, she said, "it's okay, nothing is broken." As she got up, she brought the box up to her chest and carried it out the door. Lucy went back upstairs to grab another box.

-
"I have one more box in my room." Lucy waved to her mom as she sprinted up stairs. Once she entered her empty room, her heart fell into a million pieces. She slowly walked in and gently slid her fingers across the rough wall paint.
She gazed at her bedroom. "Wow. I never thought I would have to say goodbye." Sighing, she picked up the last box and walked to the doorway. She took one last glance at her room and smiled, before closing the door shut.
Lucy ran downstairs and exited the house, locking it behind her. She walked up to the back of the truck before placing it in. "Okay I'm ready!" Lucy entered inside the back of the truck where there were clusters of boxes and dressers. She sat on a red fuzzy chair that was in the far right corner. Her dad was about to close the truck's back before spotting his daughter hiding out. "I want to sit back here," she laughed. His face was serious but then switched to a faint smile while his eyes closed. "Okay just don't knock anything over." He pulled the door down, enclosing Lucy in the dark. She took out her phone to use as a flashlight and entertainment.
-
The door suddenly opened as a bright light blinded Lucy's eyes. She looked up from her phone to see her father standing there. "We're here." Lucy immediately got up from the chair and attempted to parkour over the clumped items on the ground. She almost tripped, but made it out alive. Jude held his hand out for his daughter to take as he helped her step down from the truck. "Thank you." She jumped up and down in excitement as she ran to the front of the truck. From there, the house was visible. "There's no way we live here!" Lucy exclaimed as she ran up to the front gate of her new house. She stared at the texture in awe. "This is huge!"
She examined the yellow mansion and the statue that stood in front. She walked up to the door and turned the doorknob, revealing an entrance of a long hallway. Excitedly, Lucy ran throughout the house, exploring the unfamiliar territory.
"Uh. Did I turn left or right to come here?" Lucy scratched her head, not remembering the layout of the mansion. She wondered around and a door opened. Her head turn to face her mother walking in with a box. Layla settled the box next to the door. "Ooh let me help!" Lucy exclaimed in joy as she ran past her mother and back into the outside world. Her mother chuckled at Lucy's enthusiasm. Jude held out a box for Lucy to grab. She did so, and then walked back to the front of the mansion, panting from her new found of lack of energy. "All that running around sure did take a toll on you." Jude laughed and Lucy nodded in agreement. Lucy entered the mansion and placed the box on top of the one her mother placed down earlier.
-
"I want this room!" Lucy exclaimed, tugging on her father's brown coat. He studied the room. "Okay. You can have that room." Lucy squealed in excitement. She ran back to the front door to grab a box that was piled underneath a couple other boxes. She took the one box to her room.
A couple hours later, Lucy's room was piled with boxes. Her wooden bed was already set up and her father was now helping her place her white fluffy mattress on the wooden planks. "Uff!" The mattress fell down with a loud thud as she plopped down on it with exhaustion along with her father. They looked at each other and smiled. "Thank you." She leaned in for a hug and he wrapped his arms around her shoulders. "Anytime."
