Brooklynn's POV
After leaving Sawyer at Ihop to meet up with Sarah, I began to wonder how Connor and Rebecca found me. I then realized that she was visible. It wasn't possible. She was only two weeks along. It takes at the least 5 months to show a baby bump. She had to be faking it, Connor was just too stupid to realize it. Thinking of his apology at the airport made me think. Was he really sincere or was he just trying to play me again. It didn't matter now, he got Rebecca and I got Sawyer. Well, not officially, he hasn't asked me out yet. I couldn't stop thinking about the way he held me, they way he made me feel. I reached up to touch my lips, still feeling his on mine. I pulled onto the interstate and immediately entered bumper to bumper traffic. Since I was going to be here awhile, I decided to call Sawyer. It rang 4 times and went to voicemail. I frowned at my phone and called again. It rang another 4 times and went to voicemail again. Maybe he left he phone in the car again. I closed my eyes, thinking about the first time we met. I turned up the radio, blasting "Other Side" by Jason Derulo, leaning back. I then pulled out my phone and decided to take a selfie. I positioned myself so that the traffic was visible and took the picture. I uploaded it and decided at follow him on instagram. I then remembered I didn't do a vlog for that day. I turned down the radio so that they would hear me and turned on my camera. I hit the record button.
"Hey guys!! So, yes, this is my first full day in Los Angeles and its going pretty well. A few mishaps but everything is all better. Sorry for the bad ending in the vlog from yesterday. We were all excited to be here but now I'm getting ready to meet up with Sarah and another YouTuber and maybe film, I don't know but I'll let guys know when I get there. By the way, I'm stuck in traffic right now, like where is everyone going at 9 in the morning?! Haha, well, I'll talk to you guys later. Bye" I said, turning off the camera. I really have to get off this road. The closes exit was eight in front of me. I took it. I didn't know where I was. My phone started to ring in my lap. It was Sarah.
"Where are you?" she asked.
"Lost" I replied back, suddenly becoming embarrassed. She asked where I was. I looked around and said what I saw on the first street sign.
"You're literally around the corner, hurry up."
I turned the corner and parked behind Sarahs van. I walked up to the house and was immediately pulled into the house by Sarah.
"She's here!! Shanna, this is Brooklynn, Brooklynn this is Shanna Malcolm." she said introducing us.
"Nice to meet you." she said holding out her hand. I quickly grabbed it a shook it, probably too hard. "Its nice to meet you too." I said
"Are you ready to do a video?" she asked.
"I'm not dressed right for one." I said looking down at my outfit.
"Its fine, I'm not dressed right either." she said laughing. She sat down in front of the camera and I joined in right next to her. I couldn't believe it! I was doing my first collab with one of my idols. This day couldn't get any better.
