More Than Just Friends

Chapter Eight: Summer Vacation

Ruby started to stutter with the words that she heard from Ken, she felt like he was the person that was her type.
"Yes.."
Ken smiled and blushed and picked Ruby up and spun her around
"H-hey! What the-!? Let me go!"
"I'll be with you forever! I love you!"
"Ahhh! Put me down first your tickling me!"
Ruby felt happy just being with him, so did Ken, and over the past four months everything went well for the both of them.
But..after four months past, school was over for high school students because that was the day where it was Summer Vacation for them! For 3 months!
Ruby was walking to her house with a smile that she finally has time to spend the rest of her three months inside and be on electronics
"Finally home! Now I can throw away this old binder and start fresh next year and just get on my blog all day every day!"
"Fuck no your not!"
"Huh? GAH! Sami!? How the hell did you get in here?"
"Your front door was unlocked, but anyways, instead of being on your blog I bought 5 tickets to the most expensive place ever to enjoy our vacation this summer!"
"Uh...to where?"
"Hawaii."
"Wait what!? How much were the tickets!? It must've been thousands of dollars!"
"Well after saving enough, I got us all for vacation!"
"Thanks!"
"Now go pack your bags cause we'll be leaving tomorrow with you, me, Leo, Bryan, and Ken!"
"Ugh...fine."
Sami left to pack her stuff as Ruby then went upstairs to her bedroom and flopped to her bed going through her phone before doing anything else. When she looked through her phone, she had an unread message from Ken saying:
"Can't wait to be with you on vacation in Hawaii!"
"Me too! See you tomorrow!"

The next morning, the sky was pitch black still and it was 3:55 am in the morning. Ruby was putting on comfy clothes for the plane trip and gathering her stuff before leaving her house, when the taxi arrived she placed her bags in the trunk and got in the car sleeping along the way until she got to the airport.
"Ugh, where's Ruby? We'll be late for our flight!"
"Did she watch porn all night?"
"Shut up, Bryan."
The car arrived at the airport and Ruby woke up and quickly grabbed her bags, running towards Sami and everyone else with her ticket as they all headed to the plane. Ruby was sitting next to Ken, Sami was sitting next to Leo, and Bryan was sitting next to an elderly lady for almost 6 hours.
After 6 hours had passed, the plane landed to Hawaii, everyone grabbed there bags and went to a hotel to sleep in for the night.
"The view out here is amazing!"
"The beds are comfy, too!"
"Where's the wifi when you need it?"
"Alright! Everybody pick a room and we'll relax for today until tomorrow!"
Ruby went to a room and saw the inside of the room, she was amazed of seeing how very nice and comfortable it was, she unpacked her things and put her clothes in a drawer organized and neat as she then jumped on the bed and wrapped herself in her soft blanket.
"Ahhh...so soft and comfy~" she said while leaning her head against one of the pillows
"Would it be comfier if we both cuddled?"
"Eeek! K-Ken?...how did you get in here?"
"I was in the shower while you came in and looked cute in your blanket."
"S-so this is your room?...heh" Ruby chuckled nervously feeling like an intruder of coming in his room not knowing he was here
"Yep! But don't worry, you can stay here if you want."
"Ummm....s-sure."
Later that night, Ruby changed into her pajamas and fell asleep under the covers of the bed until something suddenly woke her...she felt heavier than usual and couldn't move, slowly turning her head, Ken was sleeping and had his arms wrapped around her waist while she felt him breathing against her neck. Ruby didn't know what to do, she turned red and tried to fall back asleep..until then..she felt safe in his arms and slowly fell asleep.
