Seshomaru*pov

I brought rin back to Keade's hut, I was in tears seeing her like this. Everybody understood that I would never cry about something like this unless I deeply cared for that person.

But..watching rin lay there broke my heart I thought she was dead, the love of my life....dead. So many thoughts were going though my mind at lighting speed, I saw nothing but red after I looked at her.

I was pretty sure that I would have killed Inuyahsa if he had waited any longer to tell me where she was.

Once I put her on the cot keade told me too ,they told me too leave so I left to wait outside.

I've been waiting for 3 hours they still haven't told me anything I'm starting to get annoyed by these humans. Not but 1minute later the human they call kagome ran up to me.

"Sesshomaru!! Rin's awake!" She yells at me.

'Rin's awake... Thank the gods' I thought ,inwardly sighing in relief.

I stood up swiftly and at extreme speed I ran to where they were keeping rin. Bursting in the room I see two bueatiful creamy chocolate brown eyes looking at me in shock.
I slowly walk towards her and kneel on the ground, the two humans silently left us alone.

"Sesshomaru...am I dreaming?" My little ward said quietly, tears building up in her eyes.

I looked at her with a small smile and softens my eyes " No Rin you're not dreamig this is real." I said opening my arms.

"Sesshomaru!! " she cried jumping into my arms, shaking as sobs raked through her body. "Please don't leave me not now, not ever...I was so alone while you were gone...I can't stand you to leave again. " Those words shook me to my very core with sadness. How could I leave her here to suffer so much pain and loneliness..
I have always loved her even back then I loved her I didn't want to leave her here but I had to because I wouldn't have been able to protect her in the demon relim, where I had been for the last 10 years, as I looked into her eyes they held such longing and sadness. I said the only thing I could think of.

"Rin I will never leave you alone again, you are my precious little mate and I will stay by your side till you will me away." I looked deep into her eyes with intense sincerity.

" y-your mate...I'm your mate?" She asked in disbelief

"Yes, my mate rin you are my mate and I am bound to you for life." I looked deep into her eyes and told her
What I have wanted to tell her for years "Rin I love you, your my muse ,my heartbeat, the air in my lungs without you I will perish, so I humbly ask you will you be my lover?"

Rin had small tears in her eyes and a big smile forming on her lips she leaned close to me and before I know it her soft lips were on mine. I started to kiss back, I brought her to my lap without breaking the kiss. I nibbled on her bottom lip asking for entrance once granted I explored every inch of her mouth as she did mine and our tongues danced. I eruned for her so much I want her but I had to restrain myself I would wait till she was ready.
Our mouths broke arpart she looked at me breathlessly and said "need I say more my lord."

I looked at her in all serousness. "enough with the lord ,you are mine and I am yours we are equals."

All she did was smile and fall into me and dirfted into a peaceful sleep ,in all this I had completely forgotten about her injuries I quietly layed her down on the bed and made her comfortable as I was about to pull away her little hands held on to my kimono for dear life so I gave in and layed down next to her and griped her closer to my chest. Not long after, I drifted off sleep myself at peace with my mate in my arms.
