Ara's POV
-12 PM-
"Mama, can I get a pop?" asked Joseph.
"Of course you can munchkin."
As I walk towards the Starbucks at the other end of the mall, I can't help but think about how us moving to another state could change our lives. We're here at the mall to get new clothes for JoJo. But, of course we had to stop for a little snack. I grabbed his favorite sippy cup out of my bag and made my order.
"Hello, welcome to Starbucks. How may I help you?"
"Hi, I would like a grande iced coffee and two birthday cake pops." I give her the money already having the price committed to memory, and she gives me my order.
" Thank you, come again" the cashier says.
I give JoJo his juice and we spend about two hours going in and out of stores, only to return to the same stores we originally went in and got two outfits.
"Mommy, I'm ready to go!"
" We'll leave soon baby JoJo, are you hungry?"
" Yes, I want food."
Baby JoJo and I are heading towards the food court, when suddenly I smell the best scent ever. I inhale deeply,only to find that the scent is no longer there.
"Whatever that smell was I'm having it for lunch JoJo." I say, jokingly.
~~~~~~~-7 pm-(Ara's home)
"Mommy, can I have juice?"
"Sorry, munchkin. We wouldn't want you to have an accident, would we?" I asked.
"No mommy" JoJo answered with a pout on his face.
"Hey, no pouting or else I will-"
"Ahhhhh" he giggled and screamed as I continued my attack on his chubby belly.
"I wuv you mommy, goodnight."
"I love you too, goodnight."
After baby JoJo went to sleep, I got out of the bed careful not to wake him up. I made sure that everything we needed were packed including snacks, pull-ups, clothes, etc. Afterwards, I went back to bed and sunk into a deep sleep.
