A Couple Yards Away (A Jacob Sartorius Fanfiction)

Author's Note

Hey guys. So I'm well aware I haven't updated in months. I apologize if any of you were extremely interested in the story and were waiting for an update. I also apologize for my absence in general. But this school year has definitely been very different. My time was mostly taken up by sports, school, and a boy. But I also just kind of lost interest in this story after a while, so I took a break. The good news is I've gained interest in the story again, but the bad news is when I read what I had so far, I genuinely hated the storyline. So I've decided to rewrite this story. Here's the changes I'll be making:

1.) I'm not going to use the same names. While reading this, I realized how weird it was using people's actual names. So everyone (except Jacob etc.) will be getting new names, including myself.

2.) The characters in general will be changed. I realized I had created people nothing like the people they were based off of, and they were becoming less realistic. I'm going to make the characters more realistic, and change up their personalities some.

3.) The plot will change. I'm going to base some of the story's events off of things that have happened this year. It'll be easier for me to write the story with it this way.

4.) I will also be removing some characters. And that's that. They may make small appearances, but they won't be in the story 24/7.

5.) And I changed the title 🤷🏻‍♀️

And right now I think that's about it. I hope you guys will enjoy the re-written version of this story. I promise to actually put effort and time into the story this time, I don't want to let you guys down.
