Pic of Audrey above
Audrey's P.O.VI woke up for another boring day at Forks. I haven't even made one friend, and I had just gotten to the point where they didn't stare at me anymore.
I pulled the covers off my body and stepped into the cold air. I looked outside to see it raining. Great.
I shook my head and got dressed into black, ripped skinny jeans, a large, pastel pink sweater and combat boots. I brushed my hair and applied small make-up that my mother required me to wear.
"Audrey! Hurry up!" My mother shouted from the bottom of the stairs. I sighed, grabbed my bag, and rushed out of the house. My mom was very horrible to me. The abuse was a daily basis thing. Everyday when I got home from the small diner in La Push where I worked, I got a beating depending on how long I took to get home. I learned how to hide the bruises, cuts, and scrapes. I also learned how to take care of the wounds she left me with. Well, the physical ones.
I got to the door where my mother was waiting. I grabbed the keys to the old Cadillac I have. She slapped me. "How dare you take so long! Go to school!"
"Yes, mother." I said in a sweet tone. It was faked, but she doesn't know that. I fake my happiness and she doesn't notice. I hopped up in my car and turned the key in the ignition. The engine roared to life and I pulled out of my driveway, turning on the radio for background noise.

I walked back to my car and climbed in, putting on my apron and nametag quickly. I had already slipped into the daily cycle and learned how to manage my life properly. Before I could pull away, a short, blonde girl tapped on my window. I rolled it down and she spoke.
"Do you think you could give me a ride to my boyfriend's house?" She asked, her eyes filled with desperation.
"Sure," I rolled the window back up and she ran over to the passenger side, climbing in.
"Thank you so much!" She buckled her seat belt. "It's just so far to walk. It'd probably take me til' midnight! Gosh, sorry, I'm rambling. I'm Taylor." She smiled.
"Audrey." I smiled back at her. "Where is your boyfriend's house?"
"In La Push.." She trailed off as if I was going to tell her to get out.
"Really? That's where I'm headed." Her head shot up.
"Seriously? For what?" Eyes filled with curiosity.
"I work at the diner there." I shrugged, turning left. Taylor's phone buzzed. She dug it out of her purse and looked at it, tapping at it for a few before turning to me.
"Do you think you could take me there instead?" She bit her lip and looked out the window.
"Noooo." I said sarcastically. "I work there. Every day. After school. I couldn't possible take you there instead of somewhere else."
"Okay, smartass." Taylor laughed. I smiled and pulled up to the diner. I climbed out of the car, and locked it as soon as Taylor got out.
A russet-skinned male ran out and picked up Taylor, spinning her around and kissing her. I looked inside through the glass windows to see most of the Quileute boys here. Why?
"Hey," Taylor looked over at me. "Thanks again. Friends?"
"Friends." I agreed and went inside to figure why they were here exactly."Audrey! There you are!" My coworker, Ashley, said from behind the counter. The boys' heads snapped up and I sighed. My dad had been friends with the Clearwaters before my mom drove him away.
"AUDREY!!!!" Seth shouted, running up to me. I was engulfed into a giant bearhug.
"Kay, since when do you have muscles, muskrat?" I said, using his nickname from when we were little.
"Hey!" He exclaimed in defense. I chuckled and went behind the counter to start working. I set my bag in a little cubbie the workers had and went to the front. Seth had gone back to the others and Ashley was serving them.
I looked up as the bell above the door rang, signalling someone came in. He was absolutely perfect - the tanned skin, black hair, and tired looks. God, his eyes sparkled. My heart pounded in my chest as he made his way over to me. He looked up and met my eyes, then suddenly stopped in his tracks.
"Sir?" My voice seemed to bring him out of some trance.
"Oh, s-sorry." He apologized, a blush creeping up on his face. It was cute. "Can I have a latte and a muffin?"
"Yes, sir. Will that be all?" I punched his order into the cash register.
"Yes." He responded. His voice was great. Amazing. Perfection. I could listen to it all day. Audrey, you literally just met him. Calm down. I said to myself and gave the man his order.
"I've never seen you before." he pointed out to me.
"Oh, I'm new. Just moved into Forks." I smiled.
"Well in that case, I'm Paul Lahote." He smiled back at me.
"Audrey Jacobs." I said.
"Maybe we can hang out some time. Like, maybe, this Saturday?" He asked.
"Sure." I wasn't going to say no, regardless of my mother.
"Great. There's this party I want you to come to. Meet me here at 7:30." With that, he walked out.
Honestly, I had left work that day shaken up. Maybe it was because I had never went on a date before. Was this a date? Did he consider it a date? Why was I so attracted to Paul Lahote?
