You drive in the center of a big city, and what do you see?
You see many good things, and many big buildings, but you also see abandoned buildings.
They have missing bricks, windows broken, and wood nailed to the doors...
They are caving in as we speak and no one cares.
People paint junk on them, and don't care.
People destroy them, ruin them, and throw rocks at them...
They are unwanted, unused, no longer desired, cursed, and unattractive.
Why am I talking about an old abandoned building? I'm not!
I'm talking about people.
The people in the big cities you see on the street!
But they aren't just in big cities...they are in little outskirts, country sides, towns, mountains...everywhere.
We glance at them, and judge them without giving them a chance.
They are beaten, bruised, cut, judged, homeless, unwanted, unattractive...
People paint labels on them...such as loser, junk, baby, weak, ugly, useless...
This doesn't just happen in to homeless people, this happens to the kids in school.
The kid you just pushed, the teen you just cursed, the baby you just hit, the young adult you dislike, the adult you just ignored, the elderly person you knocked over without a care!
Do you not see! They are all around you!
Open your eyes you sleeper!
I do not see these people as useless, unwanted, unattractive people.
I see them as beautiful.
I see them as worth more than gold.
I see them as wanted.
I see them as talented.
I see them as a child of God!
A Prince and a Princess is what they are!!
So as you are reading this, and if you still are, ask yourself...
What do you see?
Would you want them to say that about you?
Who are they? People, or old abandoned buildings? Because you treat them as old abandoned buildings.
