*Nathan's POV*
"Where'd Alex go?" Madison asked as she walked out of the house holding Hayley, who she'd just changed into a bathing suit.
Paige turned to her, "He's going to Jake's house for a 'get together' he called it. Like I never told my grandma that we were going to a 'small get together' on a Saturday night."
"I met my husband at one of those things," Madison smiled as Jack walked up behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist.
"Yeah, well, he's seventeen. He doesn't need a wife," Paige laughed and walked toward the house, "I'm gonna go change."
Madison nodded and started putting sunscreen on her squirming daughter.
"Hayley come on baby, it's just to help," Jack squatted down in front of her and tried to make her cooperate.
"I don't care!" She yelled out in a fit, "I don't want it, why don't you and mommy have to wear it?"
He frowned, "Hayley we do wear it, we just put yours on first. If you wear sunscreen, you'll be like mommy."
She looked up at him in disbelief and looked up at Madison in question.
"He's right, we can be like twins for the day," she knelt down smiling.
Hayley looked back to Jack, still frowning, but allowed him to put sunscreen on her.
I wore my trunks over, underneath my jeans, so I started taking off my shoes. I was halfway through taking off my shirt when the door opened and closed and I realized that it was Paige coming back. I suddenly forgot how to remove a shirt and got stuck, grunting against my will trying to get it off.
Once I finally wrestled my way out of it, I looked at Paige and found her laughing hysterically, "Yeah and I'm the klutz huh?" She asked between laughing.
I rolled my eyes and smiled and couldn't help but stare while she was too busy snorting to notice. She'd changed into a bikini with a blue top and white bottoms that went perfectly with her naturally dark skin tone, she looked gorgeous.
When she was finally done laughing, she put some sunscreen on her nose and cheeks and laid back in a pool chair as Jack followed Madison and Hayley into the pool.
I walked in slowly, still keeping an eye on her, "You could make it less obvious you know," Jack said quietly and I jumped. He'd snuck up on me.
I turned and scowled at him, but he only smiled, "I mean, I'm happy you've found someone you like so much, but you're making a fool of yourself.
"Shut up, I am not."
He laughed, "You so are, but that's okay. We support it completely."
"Yeah because you set it up."
"Well it worked this time right? You seem to be pretty smitten with each other."
I rolled my eyes again but nodded, "I mean, yeah. You got lucky this time okay?"
He rolled his eyes, mocking me, and swam off to play with Hayley.
