Chapter 19: Failed plan.

"Baby?" She asks me grabbing my wrist as I turn to the door to leave"What baby?"
The baby I am going to have some day. Even though things are falling apart I am happy about it... accept for the part where I don't know how Niall would react about it... or would he even get the chance to react about it. The thing is that I just found out about this today... but I already love it too much. So much that I can't think about losing it. I have to see Niall, we have to sort this all out. We have to give each other a chance. This marriage started because we gave each other a chance we just can't end it and not even try to give a chance to each other. But will I ever see him again? My heart aches without him. It doesn't beat without him... he kept my heart beating... he was the reason it was beating for.
"Emmy?" Kristen says."What are you talking about?"
"Nothing." I say"You won't be able to do anything about it so just leave it..."
"No!" She says as I start walking."Tell me are you... having... a baby?"
"Yes." I reply as I see terror form on her face which I can't explain why. But for some reason she looks really upset.
"If you and Niall don't fix this up." She starts."This baby will always be sad... it'll be ok... but it'll not be happy like all the other kids...."
"I know." I say with tears still in my eyes."If I don't fix this up... I just won't lose a husband this baby will lose a father."
"This is all so wrong." Kristen says walking around. She looks so worried."Emmy."
"What?" I ask her.
"I am going to help you fix this all up." She tells me.
"How?" I ask her."You just said you can't."
"I can." She says confidently."What I can't do is let a innocent child's life get ruined because of a misunderstanding."
"What are you saying?" I ask her confused with hope rising somewhere beneath me.
"Come with me." She says grabbing my arm and walking towards then door.
"Where are we going?" I ask her.
"We are going to get you Niall back." She says strongly flipping her cherry blonde hair as she looks in my eyes with her hazel ones.
Happiness fills me up. She is going to help me get this all back to normal. She is going to get me my Niall back. I don't know how she's going to do that... but it looks like she knows what she's doing.
She takes me to her car and starts driving."Kristen?"
"What?" She asks, she really looks focused on the road. It's like saving my happiness is the most important thing in her life... it wasn't until I mentioned the baby.
"Where are we going?" I ask her.
"Your house." She tells me."I am going to fix this all for you."
"Why?" I ask her."Why is so important to you all of a sudden?"
She stays silent for a few moments then says."When I was just a baby, my parents got divorced because of a really small misunderstanding between them, yes I know many kids have divorced parents, but my parents separated because someone created a small misunderstanding between them."
"I know I didn't do anything wrong but you said you can't help me." I say."Then how?"
She interrupts me."Emmy, I promise I'll explain everything but we have to wait till we get to your house."
"Why?" I ask her.
She sighs then says."Because if I tell you know you are going to hate me more then you already do."
"Just don't tell Niall anything about the baby." I tell her. She nods in agreement. Yes I am confused during the entire car ride about what is happening, but I came to the conclusion that Kristen has definitely something to do with this all.
I hope Niall doesn't already hate me... I hope he gives me another chance like before. I don't know what am I going to tell him... I hope what ever Kristen has to say is strong enough for me to not lose my life. My Niall is about to go away from me for ever. I hope he will listen to me... give me a chance to talk to him... tell him I am innocent. I know he kissed Kristen but I am ready to forget that... for the sake of our relationship...for the sake of the time we had together and for the sake of the baby I am going to have... of course he has no idea about it.
We reach the house... my heart starts beating faster. I am scared... what if he's not even there? What if he kicks me out and tells me he hates me? That doesn't sound like Niall... my Niall would talk to me... listen to me... I know he only got angry because he thought I am cheating on him. But then again the Niall I knew off wouldn't kiss another girl.
Kristen rings the door bell with me behind her. We wait at least 5 minutes... he opens the door. He doesn't look good... he looks upset and worried. He looks at Kristen and then sees me behind her.
He stares at me and I stare back at him, in his blue eyes as mine go blurry as tears slip down.
"Let us come in." Kristen tells Niall. He says nothing but moves aside. I step in the house. I don't get that usual welcome I always get from him, and why would I? He thinks I cheated on him.
"Let's sit down and talk." Kristen says as I slowly sit down. Niall keeps his eyes on me... as if he is still in the shock... he probably is.
"I need you both to pay attention to what I am about to say." Kristen says loudly making us slowly turn towards her.
She takes a deep breathe and says."I want to apologize for all what has been caused."
"You didn't do anything." Niall says."It was Emma... I mean Emmy who's to be blamed."
He didn't want to call me Emma. He always want to call me Emma. I look at Kristen for her to say something... to save the day like she said she will.
She looks on the floor and then says."No it is not her fault, if anyone's to be blamed it should be me, for agreeing to do this."
"To do what?" I ask her confused.
"I am so sorry." She says a tear slips down her eyes."I don't know what I was thinking to let this all happen."
"What are you talking about?" Niall asks her impatiently.
"It was all a plan." She tells us.
"A plan?" I ask her."What kind of plan?"
She stands up, holds my hand and forces me to stand up, she does the same with Niall, and places my hand in his. He almost let's go, but Kristen says."Don't let her go Niall."
He crosses his eyes as she says."You have no idea how much she loves you."
He stares at me as I try to look in his confused eyes but can't because the tears won't stop flowing.
"What are you saying Kristen?" He asks her."She doesn't love me." Though he still holds my hand tighter then ever.As if he found a long lost thing.
"Charlie called me a day before I met you both, he told me how Emmy and you got married and how much he hated that." She pauses and sits down on the couch.
"He told me that he despises Niall and that he is in love with Emmy, but the way he talked I knew it his hate for Niall is stronger then his love for Emmy."
She stops for a second then says."He begged me to help him, although I hated what he was saying I agreed to help him as a favor to my cousin."
"He hates the fact that Niall has money, fame and Emmy, that's all something he wants." She continues."So he told me what to do and made me promise I'll do exactly what he's saying."
She looks up at me and says."I really am sorry Emmy."
She takes a deep breathe then says."I called Niall daily at lest 15 times, like I was asked to... I had to give you the impression that I am really interested in him." She slips another tear and says."I lied to you when I said he kissed me."
"What?" Niall and I ask in shock. He is shocked because he has no idea she ever said that to me, I am shocked because she framed him. Though happiness fills me up because I was right my Niall would never kiss any other girl besides me.
"Charlie asked me to say that, he called you tell that, we both knew Niall wasn't home, so we came, when you and Charlie were in your room
I called Niall and told him that you are cheating on him."
"You what?" I ask her.
"I really am sorry." She says, and I know she means it. She then continues."When Niall entered the house... I quickly texted Charlie saying that we are coming up... and that's when he kissed you...." She then looks at Niall and says."Emmy is innocent and you know that she would never do such a thing to you."
I look in Niall's eyes who stars to say."I am so sor." But I don't let him complete as I press my lips on him. He holds me tight. I got him back. I got my Niall and my life back. We both look at Kristen who says."Please forgive me."
I can't help it. She helped me get this all back to normal. True she created it but it was Charlie who made her do it. And it was so kind of her to tell us the truth. I know telling the truth after you do something so wrong is very hard... but for the sake of my baby she did it.
I give her a hug which she in shock slowly returns."Thank you." I tell her.
"I made this happen you can't thank me." She says.
"You fixed it back for us." Niall tells her."And for that we have to thank you." He gently holds my hand, which I hold back with a smile.
The doorbell rings, Niall goes and opens the door as Charlie enters. He looks at all three of us standing together as Niall comes back and holds my hand.
I want to kill him right now. I mean it. "What are you doing here?" I yell.
I am running in for a punch but Niall grabs me before I am able to take more then a step.
"What are you doing here?" He asks me back.
"I happen to live here." I tell him."You on the other hand."
"I came to make sure you were ok." He tells me, as he comes close to me but Niall pulls me away.
"Not a step closer to her." He tells her.
He looks in his eyes, I see they are filled with hate, but Niall is controlling it.
"You should leave now Charlie and never come back." He tells her.
He looks at Kristen who strongly looks back at him."What did you do?" He asks her.
"Told the truth." She says confidently.
He looks at us both holding our hands. He meets my eyes as I say."You failed."
"Emma." He says but I interrupt and say."Emmy, it's Emmy."
He takes a step backwards and leaves and this time I know he will never come back. This time I know nothing will come between the two of us... opps I mean the three of us... gotta count the baby as well.
