Luke's POV:

I sigh as I look at my new school. This is my fifth time moving in only four months. I hate moving so much. I can never keep friendships or relationships going because of how much I move. I look at my mom and ask, "So how long are we staying here?". She smiles and says, "I asked my job if I could stay in one place until you graduate. So that gives you a chance to make friends. I roll my eyes knowing that might not happen. As soon as I make one friend I'm packing my things up and moving. "Don't roll your eyes at me Luke Hemmings." my mom says sternly. "Yes ma'am" I look down. "Now go on before you are late. I'll pick you up after school." Mom kisses me on the cheek and I make a face. She just laughs and let's me out of the car. As I walk up the stairs of the school, I can already see people staring at me. I can hear them whispering things already. But I ignore them and keep walking forward until I get to the principles office. I get my schedule and look at my first class. Math, of course I have math first. I don't have enough time to complain because just as I'm about to hunt down my first class, the tardy bell rings. I scramble down the hall and find my class. "Only five minutes late." I mumble to myself. As I walk in, all eyes are on me. "Ah, you must be Mr. Hemmings." The teacher says to happily. I nod, " Yes ma'am." "You can have a seat anywhere." The teacher smiles. I nod again and head to the farthest seat in the back. I plop down and sigh quietly. "This is going to be a fun day." I mumble to myself.
