... ... ...

Carl Vincent stayed to his room for a while and takes some time to think but he knows it won't stay longer because his cousin and a best friend Jefferson was with him all the while.

"Your meeting with the lady is by tomorrow night at the Crimson mansion and your father is expecting you to be there." It announces that breaks his silence.

"Do I really need to meet her?" he lazy asked.

Jefferson sighs. "I knew that you just agreed to that agreement because you don't have a choice and also because of your father's position at the council. But you were also too young back then that you couldn't decide on your own."

"Then what do you mean by that?"

"I'm just saying that now your thirteen I think you should decide now before it was too late to get away from it." it answered seriously.

"Huh!" he breaths deeply. "I really don't know what to do by now," he answered bluntly.

"Then. Meet Lady Jessica first before you decide what you have to do." It suggested.

... ... ...

Crimson Mansion...

As Carl Vincent finally steps in at the Crimson house he immediately heard that mysterious sound that he's been searching for a long time and he even went back into the woods where he found that mysterious lady in the cliff. But for some reason he couldn't found that place anymore so mysteriously. That made him thinks much harder for these past few days and it also made his heart ache.

"Carl Vincent," it was his father who took his attention that made him to stares back at him.

Mr. Carl Victor Lodernbergh the head of the Lodernbergh Family and leader of the Vampire Clan. A Council member protected the Tierra Prometida one who keeps the peace between humans and supernatural beings.

"Yes, Dad?"

"What was your thinking?" it asked suspiciously.

"What do you mean?" he asked pretending not to know anything.

"I know you a lot, my son. And when you were spacing out like that, I know you have something in mind," it stated bluntly. "So, what is it?" it asked seriously and when it changes tone he knows that his father already felt his doubt.

Carl Vincent secretly takes a deep breath before keeping what's on his mind right that moment. "Nothing," he lied while keeping himself not to run when he heard the mysterious sound getting closer. "Really, it was nothing."

Carl Victor stares at him intently. "Fine." It said. "If you really don't want to speak of it, let's go and meet Lady Jessica first then you decide after that." It answered that surprise him. "You know the rules about the Councils but you clearly knew what's on my mind because I won't force you to this kind of arrangement if you just speak of it," it added before it moves forward.

... ... ...

"Yna," she turned around to face her Nanny with a smile.

"Yes, Nana Ciello?"

"Where do you think you're going?" it asked seriously.

"Ahm," she smiles shyly because she knows that she's been caught but her Nanny just stares to her intently waiting for her answer. "To the wood...?"

"Seriously." It reacted. "Didn't you know what date today?"

"I know. But you know that Lady Jessica won't allow me to be at there, so I just go for a walk." She explained.
