I stared at myself in the bathroom mirror. My dark scruffy hair and green eyes stared back at me. But I was also waiting for something new to change, or feel something different. But despite the fact that I recently saved Indigo’s life. I still don't feel anything but this gaping hole. The part of me that's somehow lost, and I never had a chance at finding it again. Lost and never been found. Suddenly the bathroom door slammed open as Alfie walked in. He stopped immediately once he saw me. I stared at him with confusion as I studied him. Anger was shone on his face. What the hell did I do?

"You." Alfie growled in a low tone. The back of my throat began to clamber up as I started walking backwards. Alfie stepped forward, eyeing me carefully. My back hit the wall. My eyes widened as Alfie approached me face to face.

"You…" he spoke again.

Panic rose in my chest. Oh shit. He's going to kill me now. I don't understand what I did.

"I'm sorry alright. I don't know what I did." I answered with a light voice.

His blue eyes met mine. After first they were hard and cold as ice as he glared at me. In that moment something happened that I never would've expected. His eyes began to soften. Tears began to fall down his face. He fell to his knees and bent his head to the floor. Loud sobs erupted from him as he cried. More confusion piled onto the mountain of wtf's. His body shook with grief.

"You…..s-s-saved her." He cried out.

My mouth dropped open with surprise.

"You saved her and I just stood there like an idiot." He sobbed.

Pity for the guy filled me. I had never in my entire life have ever seen this side of Alfie. He was vulnerable, weak, unlike his usual cocky self. In a way, I understand what he was going through. Taking in a deep breath, I slowly headed towards him and enloped him in a hug. He clutched onto the back of my T-Shirt.

"She's alright now." I whispered.

Alfie nodded and looked up at me. His eyes were red, his face flushed and swollen.

"I'm a fuckup. You know I fuck everything up. And when I saw that bus coming all I could think about was losing her. I've already lost my dad in jail and my mum's a fucking slag. And I've got no one but her." He whispered.

"Everything's fine now." I repeated again.

Alfie sniffed loudly as he began to wipe away his tears. He slowly began to stand up. I blew out a big breath of air as he walked over to the sink. My chest expelled all the air I had been holding in.

"You're one of the good guys." Alfie stated as he dried his face with a paper towel. "I like you mate. Tomorrow I'm throwing this party and I was wondering if you wanted to go?" he asked facing me.

"Are you inviting me to a party?" I asked.

He smiled and nodded.

"I'm not one for a party. But thanks anyway." I responded.

"Alright, well come if you change your mind. Take care Jude." Then he spun out of the room and left. I stared at the door. Shock and confusion ran through head as I slowly began to grab my bag from the floor. I walked out from the bathroom and started heading for class. I had already missed the first 20 minutes. As I walked into English, the teacher was blabbering out loudly to the class.

All eyes focused on me as I quickly scanned the room for an empty seat. My eyes stopped as I noticed Indigo’s blue eyes planted on mine. Her face narrowed into a pensive look. I shuffled my eyes away and found an empty seat. I made my way to the desk and threw myself into the seat. With a low sigh I glanced over at the teacher who was now scribbling stuff onto the board.
