Part 40

The next morning I woke up a little earlier because it was our last day in Blackpool and me staying with my host family, so as a thank you I decided to make them breakfast before Britt and I had to go to school. I showered quickly, put on some comfy sweats and went downstairs. I was just done with the fried eggs when Britt came downstairs, yawning and stretching.
"Good morning Suzy, what are you doing?"
"Well, I wanted to thank you for letting me stay at your place this week and for your kindness. You and your parents have been so nice to me, I felt really comfortable here. So thank you." She hugged me tightly and sat doing, sipping her orange juice.
"Okay host sister, but remember we ought to go to the hospital before we go to school, so we have to hurry a bit." I shook my head and smiled at her.
"Don't worry Britt, I just want to say good bye to your parents and then we can leave." We ate our breakfast in silence and after brushing our teeth and me packing my stuff together, her dad offered to give us one last ride and we arrived at the hostpital about 20 minutes later. 
As we waited in front of Amy's room,  Britt asked: "So Suzy, what went down with you and Jeongguk last night?" I felt my face get red instantly, so it probably wasn't a good idea to just lie right now.
"Well, I don't think you knew but at  the Pleasure Beach, Jeongguk went on a water ride with me and I was so scared, so he kissed me. And then, yesterday at his hotel he officially asked me to be his girlfriend..." I tipped from toe to toe, slightly nervous.
"OMG what?! And you are only telling me this now?! But that is cute! Man, I gotta say that guy has some moves. And he is handsome...." Britt seemed to dream of him right now.
"Yah Britt, don't play with me! You probably didn't notice yet but I am pretty jealous", I scolded her as I suddenly felt a warm hand on my shoulder.
"Good to know you are the jealous type", my favourite voice whispered in my ear.
I turned around to see Jeongguk smirking at me and so I slapped him on his arm.
"Ouch, why are you so violent babe?", he said rolling his eyes and rubbing his arm.
"Oh don't be such a girl Kookie", I said, earning a laughter from Britt.
"What are you doing here anyways? How did you-Jimin right?", I came to the conclusion.
"Yeah, he told me you'd come to the hospital in the morning so I was just waiting to see how you were doing."
"Oh thanks I'm fine Jeongguk, thank you for asking", Britt smirked but then she sat down a couple places away from us.
"So really, how are you doing?", Jeongguk looked me in the eyes and took my hand in his. Wow, this was such an unfamiliar feeling. But it was good.
"Me? I am fine, I just came here for Britt, she needed me."
"Right, I get it. But since I know you're fine now, I can leave you be. My plane sets in 2 hours so I have to go to the airport now. Just wanted to say goodbye, but we will see each other tonight okay? I'll wait for you at home." Without me being able to reply, he kissed my forehead and left.
