Doctor Helen Magnus had done her job for many years, or rather centuries and she was aware of the winchester boys and what they did, she had never actually met them, she had however met Castiel, she did more than once work the same case as them. Difference was she got there well before them and secured the abnormal so it was safe from them, She did commend the boys, they were doing a great job, but not everything they chased was actually as dangerous as they thought, Helen wasn't goin to allow them to kill it simply based on the fact itlooked dangerous.

Helen was aware of their father and their mother of course, she knew Mary more than she, had ever known John, had she known the deal she had made with the yellow eyed demon Helen would have intervened and stopped it., but they do say that you can't stop destiny and it does have a funny way of making itself known. Helen herself had lost a child, and that was a pain that never leaves your side. Now Helen was working a case, but as luck would have it the winchester boys had gotten to the city a day ahead of her. This filled her with dread, she knew that if she didn't move fast they would killed the abnormal before she got there. But luckily she did have a very fast was of getting there.

Helen had John Druitt take her to Kanses City, he remained with her, to help her, to protect her, despite her misgivings at having him around, because their relationship could be at times very frosty, but given what he had put her through over the years, she was allowed a little coldness towards him, in fact most would think it fair actually. They did share a daughter Ashley, but that had long since caused a bigger wedge between the two in an already rather fragile relationship. Helen had tracked the boys to a motel and she asked John that he wait outside, she simply wished to talk to them, although before she could even knock the door Castiel opened it having sensed he presence and she simply said.

" really hate when you do that, what are you doing, wait don't answer that, your always where they are aren't you Castiel" Helen mused softly, and she gave the angel a ' I'm not leaving until i speak with them look' Which he seemed to take in and he simply stood aside he did however speak to what she had said when he opened the door to her. "you don't have the element of surprise with me, and you don't like it"

"no i just don't like you at times Castiel there is a difference"

"your upset, would you care to explain why, or are you not here to see me"

"why would i be here to see you? I'm here to see the boys Castiel where are they?"

Dean and Sam came out and they threw holy water over them, it was a precaution, but one that served to irritate Helen further "bloody hell, what was that for"

"had to check to see if you were a demon"Dean Simply replied and Helen wiped off her face and she gave Dean a very icey stare. She knew that he was right though, and truth be told that was exactly what Mary would have done if the roles had been reversed "hm Mary would have done the same thing, although she also would have a gun pointed at me because I'm unknown to you, not to her, I was an old friend, I remember the day that you two were born, they were so proud and so happy"

"hold up you knew our mom," Sam responded softly, and Dean of course now had his guards up again, but that was why Helen had done it, she was studying him she was trying to provoke a reaction so he would be able to know she was a friend and not a foe "listen lady you don't look old enough to have even been born then so why don't you try again huh because I haven't got time for your bullshit"

Helen couldn't help but give a smile, she had been waiting for that it was always amusing because she did look younger than she actually was "Dean, and you can have Castiel confirm, but I was born in 1850, I am 280 years old" She mused although Sam did the math in his head and got 180 but Helen knew that he would "that would make you 180 not 200, where do the other 100 years come from"

"I can tell you but not out here and you have to trust that I'm telling the truth" she mused and Castiel did nod and he then told them the same things she did, to simply prove it and Dean then invited her in but warned her to screw with them..

"okay lady start talking and make it good"
