Chapter 2:Trouble

It's been 2 days since shadow and Zane fought and for shadow it's been the hardest 2 days Zane won't talk to him eat with him or even look at him shadow just tells himself the he got what he deserved and  that Zane should never forgive him it was just plain stupid to get mad at Zane just because he splashed him. After the fight shadow's been acting like he's getting over his depression and it was working it's only today that he got not all his weapons but at least his dagger's back the only reason he faked begin ok was to have them back. Shadow sneakily went into the tent him and gene shared he sat himself down and started speaking to himself " look at you you're weak you don't deserve to live just look at what you did to Zane after that shadow rolled up his sleeve for a moment he just stared at his arm it was already filled with scars from precious cuttings did he really want to do this yes, yes he did he began cutting at his arm 2,4,6 cut's on one arm 2,4,6 cut's on the other arm after that he just sat there letting the blood from his cut's pool out see he told himself you deserve this the other's haven't even noticed that your gone they don't care about you no one does.

Zane, Travis, and Gene were getting really worried they haven't seen shadow since he got his dagger's back but he wouldn't cut right?He looked like he was doing a whole lot better he not faking right Zane told Travis and gene "i'm going to go check up on lily" Travis reply's "i thought you were mad at him"  "I was but i don't like ignoring him like this he is my Bkff anyway i'll be right back" gene said " wait giggles i'm coming too"  said was alright with that soon they were at the entrance of the tent when they didn't here anything they got even more worried "lily it's Zane me and gene wanted to know if your ok" not reply they both took a deep breathe and opened the flap to the tent what they was shadow lying on the unconscious oozing blood Zane started crying until gene got Travis to come calm him down all gene could do right now is stare he should've know not to give shadow back any of his weapons if Travis hadn't snapped him out of it gene might've stayed like that the whole time "gene we have to do something and fast he lost a lot of blood and still is"  gene muttered something that the other's didn't quite hear after he got his stuff together gene told them what to do " Travis i want you to go get some bandages from Dante I've seen him use them when his animal friends get hurt and Zane i want you to use your water powers to clean his cut's got it" got it they both replied while Travis went to get the bandages Zane got work cleaning shadow's cut's sniffling a bit while doing it as for gene well he was getting the tent cleaned up so after shadow got bandaged up he can rest.

Gene's Pov~💜

( you didn't see that coming did you) g-g-gene i turned around a saw that shadow was waking up y-y-yeah lily " how long was i out" not to long i say to him i see him relax a bit then i saw a tear roll down his cheek lily what's wrong i ask " i'm sorry gene i didn't mean to make you guy's worry" that not important  right now lily what's important is that we make sure your ok. Travis walks in with some of Dante's bandages and we get to work putting them on lily after were done lily looks like a mummy only half done put it doesn't matter how he looks as long as he's ok i'm ok.

~Back to 3rd person~

Shadow had a sleepy look in his eyes even though that he was just unconscious Travis and Zane left the tent to let him sleep but gene stayed behind to watch over him he didn't want anything to happen to lily while he sleep but to make sure nothing happened when he was awake gene grabbed shadow's dagger's cleaned them up and put them in his pocket's he'll put them somewhere else later. As gene got up to go to his side of the tent he felt something pull him back when he looked he saw shadow's hand tightly gripping his hand a slight blush got on gene's face instead of moving shadow's hand gene just sat down next to him until shadow pulled him down next to him. The two of them just laid there shadow snuggling up into gene and gene turning into a blushing mess they stayed like that for awhile until they both fell asleep in a position with gene spooning shadow and their tails popping out and intertwining with each other.
