Sapphire's P.O.V
Sapphire stared at her father's dead body. Her mind raced back to what happened.
-Flashback-
A few minutes ago...
DING DONG.
Sapphires parents were tucking Sapphire in bed. Her dad went to see who was at the door. Then Sapphire and her mom heard a scream. Her father's. Sapphire's mom instructed her to hide under the bed. So she did. Her mom went in the bathroom and locked the door. Pretty soon, a group of men knocked down the bedroom door. Sapphire watched as they broke down the bathroom door. She heard a scream. Sapphire saw a body drop to the ground. Her mom's. The men started talking. Sapphire couldn't hear them but she was able to pick up some random parts. It sound like this:
"Did...........find.........................?"
"..............was nowhere............................"
"Curses!....................................somewhere."
Then the men left. Sapphire waited a few minutes before she crawled out of her hiding place. She quietly walked to the front door and saw her dad's dead body. There was a small whole in his chest. The men were nowhere to be seen.
