Sapphire's P.O.V.
Sapphire ran as fast as her legs could carry her. She leaned on tree, panting. In front of her was a forest. Sapphire went in the forest, looking for the house that her best friend lived in. Finally she came across a small cottage. She knocked on the door. A girl about her age opened it.
"Hi Sapphire! What are you doing here?" She asked.
"Hi May. Remember the group of men I told you about that murdered my parents? They came back. They killed my aunt and almost got me. But I was able to escape." Sapphire said.
"Oh no! That's terrible! Are you ok??" May asked worriedly.
"I'm fine, but I need a place to stay before I set off." Sapphire looked around. "Could I stay at your place for a while?" She asked.
"Sure! I don't think my mom would mind." May smiled. "I'll go ask her." She ran into the cottage. She came back a minute later with a smile on her face. "My mom said yes!" She squealed.
"Great!" Sapphire smiled. "I won't stay for long, I'm going to look at your map and find a place to go." She said.
"Ok!" May replied. "Come on in!"
