THUD!

I immediately fell to the floor. After rubbing my head and my sense of balanced was restored, I glanced up and saw a girl with messy blue hair also sitting on the floor, rummaging through our mixed items, trying to find what was hers. "I am sooo sorry!" I helped her search through the stuff. I received my binder along with my notebook. "I'm guessing this is yours." I picked up a hard cover book and was about to hand it to her before I read the title. "Key of the starry heavens!!" I bursted out in excitement. I got up from the ground and offered a hand as she brushed of the debris on her dress. She looked at my as I handed her book with a smile. "You read this book?" She questioned. My eyes lit up, "only like a million times!" We meandered around the halls. "I'm Levy." A grinned appeared on her face. "I'm Lucy." Her eyes revealed an astonished expression, "so...your the new kid?" She examined my features and thought while rubbing her chin. "You are my new friend!" She giggled, pointing her finger out. I laughed as a response, "okay!"
"What classes do you have?" I took my schedule from the front cover of my binder and handed it to her. "Oh my god!" I looked at my new friend in confusion. She looked up from my schedule and at me. "We have the same English class!"
"You like English?" I laughed. "Yeah! It's my favorite." I leaned into her ear to whisper a secret. "Don't tell anyone...but I am writing my own novel." A gasp escaped her voice as she loudly exclaimed, "No way! I have to be the first one to read it!" We stopped walking and the halls were empty. I ad put my schedule away by now. She grabbed my hands and brought them down to in front of her belly. She stared at me. "Promise me?" I blankly stared at her enthusiastic smile and closed my eyes with a side smile. "Sure." I opened my eyes again as we headed to our English class.

The rutine for each class was basically the same for today. Every class, the teacher introduced me and I sat down next to random people. In my first period class; Math, I sat next to Natsu. In my second period class, which was History, I was placed near a guy with a white shirt and raven hair. His name was Gray. Then there was lunch. After lunch I had English with Levy. Next was Physics. I sat next to Erza. She was the leader of the student council. After, there was home ec. A girl named Juvia was my partner. She sucked at cooking. We had to follow instructions to make a small cake. By the end of the period, streaks of flour imprinted the top of her head. Last was P.E. I guess you can say I am "aquatinted" with a tough guy named Gajeel. He had long black spiky hair. And when we played kickball, he crashed the ball into the ceiling. Of course, that resulted in him receiving a zero for the day, a bill for the ceiling, and a week's worth of detention.

I grunted as I entered my house. "Lucy? Is that you?!" My dad hiccuped. "Yeah, it's me!" He wobbled his way into the living room as I plopped on the couch. He held a beer bottle in his hand, as he took a sip. "didn't you make any friends?!" I nodded. "Then why are you home?" He wobbled this sit on the chair across from me. I hesitated but shrugs. Taking another sip from his bottle, he bursted out louder, "I knew you were worthless! No one wants to be around you! I knew this would happen." He grunted under his breath. Angrily, I stood up from the couch, "shut up!" I yelled back, leaving him taken back by my sudden outburst. "You Don't know anything! Instead of drinking all the time, you might wanna get your life together." He shook his hand with the bottle in it as he placed it down on the table. He got up without saying anything. He then shakily, walked toward me.

His arm lifted and

SSSSSS!

A red mark appeared on the left side of my face as the sound of the slap echoed throughout the house. I could feel a tear escaping, as I stood there, transfixed. "Y-you....slapped me." I reached my hand up to my cheek as my other hand piled on top of that hand. I wiped the tear down and I ran upstairs, locking up my bedroom door. The lights were off and I immediately plopped on my bed. Tear after tear escaped me as I turned to lay on my side, bring my legs up and my arms around the pillow.

He actually hit me. He never done that before. How could he ju---

I dosed off in sleep, halfway throughout my thought.

-
The bright, radiant light awoke me, as I slowly sat up in my bed. Suddenly a flashback of what happened yesterday appeared in my mind. I shook the thought out of my head, putting on a smile.
I grabbed a white tank top and dressed myself. I then put on a grey sweater with brown buttons. I wore my school skirt. I quietly tiptoed out my room and toward the bathroom. I freshened up and combed my hair. How should I wear my hair? I then remembered a hairstyle which I saw in a magazine. Attempting my first try, I clipped two clips to the back of my hair. Failing, I tried once more, this time, ending in a more successful result. I slowly creaked open the bathroom door and turned the light off. I headed towards my room once again.
I glanced at the clock which read 7:20. Sighing, I grabbed my notebook with time to spare. I sat beside my bed and started to continue my novel;

Thud! I immediately fell on the floor. After rubbing my head my and my sense of balance was restored.

My novel is basically a diary. However, no one needs to know that. Before I knew it, my alarm clock beeped as I looked over and saw that it said 8:00. I sighed, slowly standing up from the ground, along with my book in my hand. I placed my notebook in my bag which laid on the sheets on the bed. I grabbed my bag's strap and hung it around my shoulder. Turning off the light, I exited the bedroom. I slowly walked down the spiral, metal stairs, only to noticed a grown man, lying sideways on the couch with a beer bottle on the edge of slipping out of his fingertips. His hand was dangling near the ground. Sighing, I quietly walked passed him and opened the front door.

-"Hey Luce!" My facial expression transformed into confusion as I noticed a certain pink-haired guy walk toward me

"Hey Luce!" My facial expression transformed into confusion as I noticed a certain pink-haired guy walk toward me. "How are you and your pink hair Doing today?" I smiled, ruffling his hair up. Making him laugh, he smiled. "Me and my salmon hair are doing just fine, thank you."
"Your hair is salmon? I never would have guessed." I said in a non-sarcastic tone. He nodded, as I opened my locker and reached in my bag for my English textbook. I placed my bag on the ground, grabbing the textbook.
However, apparently by doing so, my notebook was brought out and fell onto the floor. "Ooh what's this's?" Natsu said as I placed my textbook at the bottom. He bent his back and reached down to grab my book. In a panic, I shouted, "no! Don't read that?" He examined the front and the back. "Is it a diary?" I stuttered, "u-uh no." He then opened it. "Wait no!"
He read the first couple words out loud, "CRASH! A scream was heard from the other room as Samantha and Dylan came running in." I immediately got off the ground and snatched the book away from his grasps. I brought it close to my chest, hugging it tightly, as I glared at him. "I did not give you permission to read it!" He whined,"but I want to know what happened!"
"I already told Levy she would be the first one to read it when it's finished" I remarked, crouching down to put my book away in my bag.
He pouted as I closed my locker and headed to class with him.
