The Mission (Chapter 30)

~Saeko's Pov: On Meadow Hope Island~

Aya and I walked in the village of Meadow Hope Island. "For a town that has been terrorized for a long time they sure keep it looking beautiful." Aya told me and I smiled. "Yeah, but it must bother them a lot when it gets destroyed." I said to Aya as a young boy run up to us. "Are you here for the job request...what guild are you from?" He asked a bit emotionless and sternly. "How old are you is that a way to talk to someone like that." I said in the same tone he did. "Tch...I'm thirteen and I asked you a question." A irk mark appeared on my head and I clenched my hand into a fist. 

This kid is getting on my on my nerves! "Well answer me you old bat!" Okay that's it! I punch the kid on his head not giving him any mercy. "Who the hell you calling an old bat!!!" I shouted at the kid as Aya pull me away from beating the snot out of the kid. "Eh..um...s-sorry about that we are here to help get rid of your problem here and we're from Lamia Scale guild. I am Aya and this is Saeko." Aya told the brat as she pointed at my guild mark on my mid section of my stomach and hers on her left shoulder. I huffed and fix my sleeveless jean jacket. The brat looked at us and nod. "Okay follow me I'll take you to the leader chef, also my name is Ken." The kid said monotone. 

~Time Skip~

Ken walked us to a shrine and a tree house. Well that's interesting. I grined. "Mr. Shino! Mr. Shino they're here!" Ken shouted for Mr. Shino as he walked inside with us following behind. I noticed a average size man in his late 30's siting on the floor sipping green tea. Guessing that's the guy that posted the job request.

"Mr. Shino I brought them just as you asked." Ken told kindly to the man. Little bastard acting all nice to the man but to me the little shit treats me like I'm the dirt underneath his shoes. I glare at the back of Ken's head. I felt something soft pulled my hand, I looked down and saw Aya who was doing that. I raised a brow at her and hummed at her letting her know that she got my attention.

"Saeko are you even listening?" She questioned me. "Uh sorta." I heard her sighed. "I been calling your name at least five times. Stop glaring at the back of Ken's head." Aya said a tad bit irritated. I gave a nervous low chuckle and rub the back of my head. "H-hehe..sorry." I looked at the older man and smiled. 

He smiled at me kindly and gestured my to sit down so I did and looked at him. "It's good to see Saeko." He said kindly as he continued. "My name is Shino. I'm glad that you came to aid me and my village. I am very generous that Lamia Scale accepted this especially you." I looked at him questionably as he continued. "I'll explain later why I wanted you." I nodded. "Very well than. Where can I find those bastards." I looked at Shino serious. "I'll have Yuma take you there." Just as Shino said that a white wolf run over to him and sat near him while facing us.

"Okay than then we should get started, let's go Aya." I got up and walked to the door with Aya and Yuma following. I looked back at Shino. "We'll be back soon." I said as we left.

~Time Skip~

I looked at Aya as Yuma lead us the way. I think Shino hiding something. I told Aya telepathically. You think so? She replied back. Yeah he looked like he wanted to tell me something right way but stopped himself from saying it. I looked ahead. Well whatever it is we'll fund out soon when we're done. Aya replied as we stopped at few seconds before tripping over Yuma.

Yuma looked at us then looked at a sorta dark but destroyed field. "This must be it." Aya said. "Yeah let's get this done with." I said a bit pumped as Aya went into her battle form. I looked down at Yuma. "Stay here this won't take so long." I told the white wolf than walked into the slightly messed up trail into the field.

I spotted the dark guild chatting and laughing along with each saying how they took and terrorizes the village. That just passed me off. I slowly walked over to there camp site, it took the a minute or so to notice me and Aya. "Hey boys look what we got here!" One rough voice shouted to the others.

"Looks like the village got us a gift! Two young lovely girls. Isn't that nice of them to do." A sender blonde said while checking out Aya and me. I scuffed at him. "What do we have here!?" A tall sorta muscular reaven haired man walked over to the blonde. "Boss!" Blondie shouted to the reaven haired man.

"Theses girls are the gift from the village." Blondie stated and the boss had smugly ugly grin eyeing us up and down. "Let's have fun with these two." I looked at him with disgust. "Tch as if." He moved closer to me and grabbed my face. "And what makes you say the cutie." I glared and pulled his hand off me. "Cause you're all not my type and we're only here to kick your ass, getting off the peaceful island. You don't belong here. This is gonna hurt really really bad." I said with a smirk. I slapped him hard which send him flying across the field. Everyone looked at us and the charged at us. "You take half and the other half." Aya told me and I chuckled. "Alright let's go this!"

I ran to Blondie and kicked him into the air and send a black energy ball at him. I turn and swith kicked one guy in the face. 

~Time Skip~

Aya and me started walking back with Yuma leading us. "Gosh my muscles feel stiff." I complain. "Well they wouldn't if you just stretch more often." Aya mumbled. "Well sorry mom." I said with snicker which only got me an eye roll from Aya as we walked inside Shino's home. "You girls are back early." "Yeah it was not sweat those guys are all froze up." I chuckled at my little pun as I walked to Shino.
"He is your award and this is from your mother." He hand Aya the money and looked at me handing me a beautiful silver chest box and a journal book. "She wanted to give it to you but..." He looked down slightly. "Take it and you'll understand everything." Shino told me. "I stared at you for a while then nod. "Thank you." "It's no problem Saeko." I smiled and walked out with Aya following. At least I have something of you to hold on to and remember you mother....I hope you're watching me...I hope you're proud of me mother...I miss you.

It's been a long time my dearest daughter~

You grown so much Saeko~

You hurt her I'll kill you!~

You'll pay for that!~

I love her so much I'll do anything for her~

You're still weak when I first met you~

I'm not the same little girl when we met!~

You're weak and always will be Saeko~

Don't underestimate me I'm different from before! I'm a lot stronger than you think! I'm not the weak defenseless powerless naive girl that I was before!!!~
