Chapter 24: Tension On The Field

You guise...I swear.....I just love you so much. You guise I'm sorry I didn't post 2nd chapter yesterday. However, I don't usually post Mondays so this is a make-up. WE GOT 7 VOTES ! EEEKK ok ILYASM and don't stop believein and I just finished..A/N dat spellling doooe....) ok anyways lal just finished The Fault In Our Stars by John Green. Wholllllleeeyyy CAHRAP IT WAS THE BEST BOOK EVER! It was sad and humorous and everything compiled into one. I loved it. OK! AND WE HAVE 726 READS~! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE OK OK STOP FREAKIN OUT CAROLINE LOLOLOL OK! COMMENCE THY CHAPTER !!

Chapter 24: Tension On The Field

Lilly's POV

The sun reflected off of my G4G's, and Mitch kept glancing at me. I was getting suspicious, but I 

ignored it. "Let's go near the water. I want to feel the temperature." he claimed. I knew what he was

planning. I went anyways, hypnotized by him. We neared the shore. I slipped off my wedges, and

my shirt and shorts. My black string bikini was ready. I prepared for the worst. He smiled at me, and

I tip-toed towards the shore, still slightly afraid. Then, I felt his strong hand wrap around my bare

stomach, and I was in the ocean. I surfaced, and he jumped in after me. I giggled, and I couldn't

touch the bottom. I swam to him, and clung to his body. He could easily touch, being the giant

he was. He held me, and I smiled. He dunked me under, and came under with me. His lips met

mine, and I almost wished I could freeze time. A kiss under water. Typical hopless romantic Mitch.

I surfaced, and clung to his body again. I almost squealed when I felt something brush against

my legs. Mitch laughed hysterically. I smacked him, and he pretended to let me go. I clung to

his body, my hand grasping his abs. He laughed even harder at this and I shook my head. He

looked at me, and smiled a goofy, crooked, grin. 

"I love you." he whispered.

"I love you too." I whispered back. Our lips met, and I wish I had a remote in my hand to really

freeze time.

Mitch's POV

A/N We're back tracking a little, to the night Mitch foudn out about her past and Pewds was all

hittin on her at the beach and they left and blah get ze peecture? GOOD!) 

I watch as Felix flirts with his eyes. I knew it was him, but I didn't want to say anything. I didn't need

to say anything. He was my sworn enemy. He tried to take everything from me.

~Flashback~

Mitch and Felix, best friends in third grade, Jerome not having moved to New Jersey yet. A/N OK

before I get comments, I know Mitch was the one who moved to NJ but I'm not exactly doing this

to make it accurate) We sat in Math, passing notes and talking about video games. Then, the

topic switched. I mentioned this cute girl, Marzia, who I really liked. A/N Remember, just fiction)

Then, before I could say anything, Felix wrote he liked her a lot. I shyed away, knowing how

popular Felix was. Then, at the Valentine's Day party, as I was about to give Marzia her valentine,

I told Felix I was too scared. He said he'd give it to her for me. I agreed. I overheard them talking.

Felix: "I made you this beautiful valentine, Marzia!"

Marzia: "Felix! It's so pretty!"

I was furious...Then, a few months later, a boy named Jerome came to NJ. We became best

friends instantly. Felix thought he wasn't cool enough, until one day Jerome won the dodgeball

game for our class and Felix immediately made Jerome ditch me. Jerome wanted all of us

to hang out, but Felix refused...I hated Felix..

~Flashback Ends~

I walked Lilly back to the suite. I wanted her to see I was her true love. I tried to "get it," but she

refused, and told me a depressing story about her past. I wanted to hold her forever. I wanted to

propose to her. I knealt down, but then I didn't have the guts to actually do it, so I tied my shoe.

She reacted accordingly, and I immediately felt terrible. 

~LE TIME SKIP TO THE DAY PEWDS CAME TO THE SUITE~

Lilly and I were having a heated discussion about what had happened. Then, I needed to take a

shower, and clear my head. I walked out, and hid behind a door. I could hear Felix talking to Lilly.

I watched, as his talking grew quieter so she would lean in, as if he were the fox that was going

to eat the gingerbread man. Slowly, she leaned in, not thinking. Then, he swooped in and kissed

her. She immediately pulled back, and I decided to pounce. She ran to me. She was so upset. I

felt like punching Felix. Instead, I just kicked him out. No use keeping him here to torture Lil.

A/N Here, we are now totally caught up to date. I should have had MItch's POV earlier, but I guess

I just needed important stuff to happen and yeah lOl)

Lilly's POV

We got out of the water, and I dried off. We walked to our suite and showered. On our way out of the

hotel, Felix stopped us. He was with Marzia.

"Hey bros!" he said.

"Hi." Mitch replied, coldly.

"Hey Felix!" I said enthusiastically, trying to make up for Mitch's unexpected anger.

"Hey bros! So, I'm having a bonfire tonight on the beach. You're welcome to come! We'd love to

have you!" he said.

"Oh, n-" Mitch started to decline. I interrupted, "Of course!" Mitch looked at me, furious. I ignored him.

"We'd love to!" I said. Felix smiled, and so did Marzia. "Great! See you there at 6!" They walked

out, and Mitch was angry. "Lighten up, babe, it's just a party." I said. He grumbled, and we walked

out to the bar.
