"I don't get the point of math" Natsu grunted as we walked to the same tree from yesterday with our lunches. I brought a plastic bag again and Natsu had the greenish blue school lunch tray. In my bag, I had a Pb&J and a chocolate chip cookie. Natsu had a bowl of mac and cheese, a water bottle, and a small bowl of grapes.
We arrived under the tree. We sat down. Only moments later, Natsu blurted out, "Oh I forgot a fork. I'll be right back." He settled his tray down and got up to go inside and grab a fork. Alone, I pulled out my sandwich out of it's plastic bag and took the crust off. I placed the crust in my paper bag and started chewing on the soft bread.

Third Person POV

Natsu went to grab a fork, however, was immediately ambushed by a group of girls. "Hey Natsu! Can you help me with my geometry homework?" One girl squealed, while shoving a piece of paper in his face. Another girl latched onto his arm and pulled him to sit at a table. "So Natsu. Your single right?" The girl twirled a strand of her hair as she slowly licked the top parts of her lips. Uncomfortable with the current events, Natsu tried to squirmage away, however, failing even more. He needed to get back to Lucy.

Meanwhile....

"Aw poor little girl is sitting all alone" a girl approached. Lucy rolled her eyes, "what do you want?" The girl smiled and crouched down in front of her. "Oh nothing" she lied. Lucy took another bite out of her sandwich.
Michelle immediately snatched the sandwich she was eating and threw it across the field. "HEY! I was eating that!" Lucy complained. "Listen here missy! You don't belong here. This is my turf. Go back home to your stinky beer-breathed father."
My eyes widened in shock. "H-how?" She then reached into her purse and pulled out a blue notebook with black swirls on the top right corner and bottom left. "Hey! How did you get that?!?" Lucy rummaged through her bag to find no sign of her book. "Well I may or may not have overheard you talking to Natsu earlier by your locker." She smirked as she read the first line out loud.
She stood up from crouching. "Ironic how the new student writes about a girl who comes to a new school and becomes friends with a pink haired friend. And sits under a tree during lunch." Lucy quietly mumbled to herself, "his hair is salmon."
Michelle violently flipped through the pages, while ending with a slam of the book shut. "Give that back!" Lucy jumped up from the grass as she tried jumping up to reach the book which was dangling in the air from Michelle's grip. "You better do what you say or everyone gets to know about your abusive drunk addict father." Lucy's eyes widened in fear as she gulped. Before turning to walk away, Michelle mumbled one more thing, "I did warn you. You brought this upon yourself, you pathetic being." She jeered with a laugh. She left Lucy in shock.

...

"Finally!" Natsu said, panting for air, as he came running up to Lucy. He slowly sat down next to her as she stared speechless in front of her. "Sorry that took so long. Some girls wouldn't move out of my way." Lucy didn't respond. She just stared ahead, like a deer in headlights. "Uh Luce?" He waved his hand in front of her face.
Lucy felt like bursting out into tears, but she attempted to hold it back. Snapping out of her thoughts, she turned to Natsu and smiled. "Sorry, I was just staring off." She gave a fake smile. Her voice was quieter than usual.

For the rest of the day, all Lucy could think of his what happened at Lunch. During her classes, she tried to keep herself distracted from doing any work. Her mind wasn't even at school. It kept replaying that scene in her head. The bell rung and everyone else had already left the classroom. That is, everyone except Michelle and Lucy. Even the teacher is gone.
Lucy grabbed her books from her desk and started heading forward, before seeing a Michelle stop right in front of her. Her arms were folded and she tapped her feet. "So what should I have you do first?" Michelle thought while placing a finger in the air, "oh! I know!" She laughed.
"Come with me!" She latched her arm to Lucy's wrists, pulling her behind the school. Looking around to make sure no one was present, Michelle slowly revealed a beer bottle from her bag. Lucy quietly gasped. "You are gonna drink this whole bottle in under a minute." Lucy gulped, "what if I don't drink it all in under a minute." Michelle smirked, "well then...I would have no choice but to tell everyone your little secret. Especially about your little crush on Natsu." Lucy's face became red as all the life out of her seemed to get drained out.
