Lea sighed in annoyance over another argument at breakfast with her uncle about Hedwig. Though she tried to ignore it, Vernon made it difficult as he felt that the whole neighborhood had to hear about it.
"Third time this week!" He roared across the table, referring to Hedwig's hooting in the early morning, "If you can control that owl, it'll have to go!"
She rolled her eyes as Harry tried to explain for the hundredth time, "She's bored" He said, "She's used to flying around outside. If I could just let her out at night-"
"Do I look stupid?" snarled Vernon, a bit of fried egg dangling rom his bushy mustache. Lea chuckled but pushed it off as a cough when all eyes turned to her.
"I know what'll happen if that owl's let out" He exchanged a dark look with her aunt, Petunia.
The boy opened his mouth to argue but a loud belch from their cousin, Dudley, cut him to it, "I want more bacon" He said as he slouched in his seat.
"There's more in the frying pan, sweetums" Petunia said, smiling sweetly at her massive son, "We must build you up while we've got the chance...I don't like the sound of that school food"
"Nonsense Petunia, I never went hungry when I was at Smeltings" Vernon said heartily, "Dudley gets enough, don't you, son?"
Lea couldn't help but glance at Dudley's bottom that drooped over either side of the chair as he was so large. He grinned before turning to her and Harry, his smile faltering as he said, "Pass the frying pan"
"You've forgotten the magic word" Harry said irritably while she huffed, "Say the magic word". As the words left her mouth, her yes widened and she paled at her mistake but it was too late.
Petunia screamed as she clamped her hands over her mouth; Dudley gasped and fell of the chair, crashing onto the floor that shook the whole kitchen; Vernon jumped to his feet, his veins throbbing at his temple as his face turned red.
"We meant 'please'!" They said quickly, waving their hands, "We didn't-"
"WHAT HAVE I TOLD YOU TWO" Vernon thundered, spraying spit all over the table, "ABOUT SAYING THE 'M' WORD IN OUR HOUSE?"
"But I-"
"We-"
"HOW DARE YOU THREATEN DUDLEY!" roared her uncle, pounding the table with his fist.
"But he-"
"I WARNED YOU! I WILL NOT TOLERATE MENTION OF YOUR ABNORMALITY UNDER THIS ROOF!"
Lea only glared at her purple-faced uncle, glancing towards her pale aunt, who was trying to heave her large cousin to his feet.
"All right" said Harry, who took his sister's hand under the table to not make her say anything worse, "All right..."
The man sat back down, breathing like a winded rhinoceros and watching his niece and nephew closely from the corner of his small, sharp eyes. Petunia, a little red in the face, finally helped Dudley to his feet before they sat back down at the table. Dudley scooted his chair to the right due to his small fear to the young witch that was watching him with narrowed eyes.
Lea was a student, along with Harry, at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. They have just came back to the Dursleys from their first year of school. They were also the youngest seeker and chaser of the century to join their house quidditch teams.
While the students were glad to go back home for the summer, the twins felt the opposite since they never considered Privet Drive their home or the Dursleys their family.
