Alex and Liam

Chapter 1

"Alexandra Pendre, CPA. Ang sarap pakinggan. It really suits your name, love," said Liam.

That's Liam, my boyfriend. We've been together for almost 3 years. We're schoolmates and we will be graduating from college soon.

"Future pa lang, love. Di pa nga ako nakapagboard exam eh."

"Papunta ka rin naman dun so pwede na. Hehe. Tapos soon enough magiging Mrs. Alexandra Gonzaga, CPA kana." Hinawakan nya ang kamay ko.

"Oh? Talaga lang ha. Di ka pa nga nagpopropose sakin. Hahaha."

"Gusto mo magpropose ako sayo ngayon?" May hinahanap sya sa bag niya.

At that moment there was only one thing on my my mind: Is this the moment I've been waiting for?

He pulled something from his coin purse.

"Alex, my love?"

He was staring right into my eyes.

"Yes, love?" I was staring at his eyes as well.

"Will you marry me?" May hinahawakan syang maliit na rubberband na kasya lang sa isang darili.

Akala ko singsing. Haha

"Ikaw talaga, Liam! Puro ka talaga kalukuhan." Pinalo ko sya sa may braso.

"What? Wala pa kasi akong ring so ito muna. Para masecure ko na na akin ka," he smiled.

That smile. It always melts my heart whenever I see him smile. He has the sweetest smile of all.

"You're really crazy." I pinched his nose.

"I know. Kaya nga love mo ako." Tumayo sya from his seat and hugged me from the back. I will never forget the warmth he gives me whenever he's hugging me.

I faced him and said, "I love you, Liam Gonzaga." Then I kissed him sweetly.

"Alexandra Pendre."

"Yes, po?"

"Kayo na po. Pakisuot na po ng toga niyo."

We were having our pictorial for our year book.

"Okay po." I stood up and turned to Liam. Okay lang ba ang mukha ko?"

"Don't worry. You look beautiful, love." Tumayo sya tapos hinalikan ako sa noo.

"Hoy, tama na yan. Nilalanggam na rin kami dito oh." That was Jason, classmate ni Liam.

Napakamot nalang si Liam sa ulo nya at tumawa naman ang mga kasama nya.

I blushed. Nakakahiya kaya pumasok nalang ako sa studio.

I am so lucky to have a man like him. He's very sweet, caring, responsible, and very optimistic in life. These are the things I came to love about him. I will never regret giving him my yes because I know he is the one.

I can still remember the time when I first met him. That was a funny time (for me but not for him). I never knew at that time that I will come to know my greatest love.

This was how we met...

"Yes, Lexi. I know. I miss you, too. I hope you can come home," I was talking to my sister. We were on a video call that time. "They're not like that. They love you, you know that... Lexi, naman eh. Please don't be like that.."

PEEEEEEEEEEEPPPPPPPP!!

"Hoy! Magpapakamatay ka ba?" Galit na galit sya nun.

"Lexi, I gotta go. Talk to you later. Love you. Bye."
