Taking another sip of my drink, I wait for the idiot that had been mentally undressing me to finally build up some courage to 'try' to hookup with me. I call to the bartender to get me another drink, as I finish the one in my hand. So the man couldn't use it as his 'opening line' then I looked over to the bouncer to signal him to be ready if this one tried to get physical.
"Hey sweetheart, what a lady like you doing here of all places?" I turn around trying not to breathe since I could already smell the alcohol on his breath, as he looked me up and down.
"Trying to drink in peace, but some idiot had to disturb me." I give an innocent smile, "What about you?" His face turns a bright raging red, fist clenching deciding if he would hit me. I stare into his eyes daring him to try, as the bouncer quickly walking over. I let the smirk that had been trying to creep onto my face flash, but just as quickly it is gone replaced by a 'scared' face. As his fist comes flying toward me, before it could make it even halfway towards my face it was caught.
"Calm down, buddy" The bouncer says in a level voice. The bouncer shoots me a look over his shoulder as he escorted the man out of the bar. I stifle a laugh with my hand, since I knew he was going yell at me when he got back.

"You are way to much trouble Ava" I look over to the bartender and smirk.
"And yet you guys let me get away with it" I laugh as I say this, since I know they can't do anything about me.
"How are we supposed to stop you?" He says smiling, after all we have this conversation anytime I come in when the bar was open.
"I don't know, that is what your supposed to figure out" I comment, as I flicked my hand out in a 'duh' motion as I gaze at him. He sighs turning around to get back to work.
"Yes, Lucas?" I say turning to the bouncer as he came to stand in front of me.
"I know this is my job, but can't you try to turn a guy down without them wanting to punch you afterwards?" He inquired.
"But where's the fun in that?" I teased, after all I enjoy seeing how many people I could get kicked out of the bar. Especially since Lucas couldn't kick me out, plus they all were allowed back in the next day. I would never not allow paying customers to not be allowed in for trying their hands at wrangling me. Where would the fun be in that? Although they would never be allowed back if they tried anything with anyone else. I made sure all the staff could defend themselves and the customers. Trained in the art of hand to hand, knife throwing, and any other weapon they could get their hands on.
"I don't know, but it would make my job easier." Saying as sternly as he could, even though a grin was plastered to his face.
"It's okay Lucas, I will give you a break tonight since I have a meeting in the next few hours and I still need to have a bath to wash the stench of this place off." Snickering as I walk to the door, but before I walk out I look to the side. Catching the eyes of the man that has been staring at me since I got the guy kick out. I shoot an innocent smile, while inside I was cackling he would be my next target.

As I finish my bath I grin, I was meeting my new business partner today. We're meeting today to go over the plans of a new chain of restaurants that we would be starting up here in Canada then if it is a hit we would then expand them up into the USA. I took out the outfit I would be wearing tonight, a charcoal black formfitting dress accented with a whit trim at the bottom. Then walk over to the vanity dresser that was in the corner of my room, I sat in the chair deciding on if I should put my hair up or not. I brushed my light golden blonde hair out, flat ironed it then put it up into a ponytail, I then quickly curled the hair that was in the ponytail into smooth tight curls. For makeup I just add some eyeliner and mascara, making it look as though I had put eyeshadow on, I also put on a dab of lipgloss to my rosy red lips. Now all I had to do to finish the look was to put on my dress.
"I'm ready." I grin walking out the door of my bedroom and into the living room of my apartment suite, and down to the restaurant that was in the building. I look to one of the restaurants hostesses, as I catch her eye she quickly scurries over towards me.
"Ms. Hale, good evening. Your guest is waiting." As she leads me towards one of the many private areas of the establishment where a young man waited in a nice onyx black suit. He had raven black hair, styled in to a hairstyle that reminded me of Tyler Hoechlin.
"Mr. Eastman it's so nice to meet you" I smile as he turns towards me, inside I gasp as I saw the man. It was the man from the bar that I looked at while I was leaving. I had not thought Mr. Eastman would be the man I would pick as my next target.
"Ms. Hale" Smirking down at me, the nerve of this guy thinking because he looked 'pretty' he was above me.
"Well let's get this finished" I state walking passed him, "Olivia, get me a glass of wine. The usual"
"Yes ma'am, would you like anything sir?" She inquired of Mr. Eastman.
"Whatever Ms. Hale is having." He then gave her an award-winning smile, although I knew Olivia would not fall for it. That was why I had picked her for this job tonight.
"Yes sir" After she replied she walked away to get what we ordered. Having sat down I looked over to Mr. Eastman who was still standing.
"Please sit Mr. Eastman, we have much to discuss tonight." Still with the smile plastered to my face, as I waved my hand to his seat gesturing him to sit. When he finished sitting, I started to talk again.
"I would like to go over the contract that we will be finishing tonight." Motioning to the papers that sat in front of us, "I hope you had some time to read over it" I stated.
"Ah. Yes I did Ms. Hale, I see you want us to split the business fifty fifty? That is agreeable, also you want the staff to know some form of hand to hand?" He looked confused by that, I smirked.
"You were at the bar right? Well if there is going to be a bar at this restaurant I want everyone to know at least some hand to hand, after all some people can be quite stupid when drunk." I hinted at what he saw at the bar. His eyes narrowed but did not mention what happen.
"Are you saying all your employees know hand to hand combat?" He rested his elbows onto the table and put his hands together.
"Among other thing..." I commented offhandedly waving my hand into the air, grinning. I could just see the gears in his head turning.
"And who will be the one that will teach them hand to hand combat?" He didn't comment on my remark, staying on the topic of hand to hand combat.
"Me and a select few." I remarked then I cut him off when he was about to say something, "Olivia, your back!" I smile wanting to feel the liquid run down my throat.
"Ms. Hale, Red Diamond Cabernet Sauvignon to your liking." Smiling lightly placing two wine glasses in front of the two of us and filled them, "Would you two like anything else, or shall I come back later?" Both me and Eastman shook our heads.
"No, that will be all miss" Eastman said sweet talking her, I roll my eyes as I motioned for her to leave and attend to other costumers. Since I didn't need Eastman gaining any sway with my employees. I hate men like him, thinking everyone should worship him.
"Now, when would you have time to teach... hm over one million people hand to hand combat?" Well that was something that came almost to a surprise to me, I had thought he would think me a weakling and I would be some prissy girl that takes money from my father to build a name for myself.
"Well I have a select few that oversee the training of the employees when I can't. Then when I am free I have small groups of employees that are sent to me by these select few, and I work on getting them caught up to where I need them to be." A little stunned that he would even think of this question.
"Who would be these select few?" I blink a couple times.
"Well one is Olivia, then two others are the bouncer and the bartender I was speaking to at the bar..." I quickly named a few others as well, I was quite confused why he would want to know.
"Mm I see, will they be trustworthy enough to train the employees at the restaurants?" I nodded, I now understood why he had been asking about them.
"Is everything else satisfactory for you Mr. Eastman?" I question want to get the questions over with and get the contract signed and then eat dinner.
"Ah, how will employees be selected? After all we will be handing them a weapon upon them getting the job." Mr Eastman questioned.
"Yes, a valid concern, Mr. Eastman. All applicants are put through an in depth criminal record check, as well as a 3 month probation period. Where they first learn the task they were hired, while we watch for any aggression or disputes in the work area. However we also do this to find out if the role they applied for will suit them. Does this seem adequate to you, Mr Eastman?"
"Yes, those measures seem adequate to me, Ms Hale." I wave over the lawyer I had waiting in the room, and yes I know it's creepy. He walked over bringing a pen with him and handed it to me. I signed then handed the contract to Mr. Eastman and he signed it. He hand the contract and pen then to the lawyer, and he slipped it into his briefcase.
"I shall get you both copies of the contract." He stated nodding his head, both me and Eastman nodded as well.
"Now lets look over these menus" Mr. Eastman grinned as he grabbed his.
