I own this idea, so don't take. Don't claim I have taken your idea, because I haven't seen someone with this exact plot line. I thought of this by myself, I haven't read anyone on here that has this same idea. The picture used for cover:Luis Hernandez

Enjoy :)

Typical day, typical teenage life, typical town. Everything is normal for Janelle Rush, well until the day that she is chased down by a bunch of men with suits and weapons. Not so normal anymore. J learned one thing, that she isn't exactly full-blood human. It turns into a strange and never ending surprises coming here way in life.

This isn't going to be one of those stories that the girl isn't normal and she turns into something different. Janelle has been different her whole life, just she never knew it. Plus, she learns that life isn't sunshine and freaking roses. Come on smell the roses, that's a dream. This isn't a nightmare and most defiantly not a dream, this is J's life.

I ran. Ran faster than I ever thought I could and would. Why is the reason? I am being chased by a bunch of random people I have never even seen in my life.

Why would they be chasing me? That's the unknown.

I looked back, always the mistake. It makes you slow down and they were catching up to me fast. I looked back in front of me and turned inside an old abandoned looking building. I didn't stop to think of anything, or the consequences.

I am just going to make this simple and short, it changed my life.

Walls were no such thing in this building, it must be an abandoned parking lot that has more than one level. Sunlight streamed in from the sides, where walls should be. Here, where I live, it's hot all year round. We get rain and it's a nice place to live at, well apparently other than a group of people with weapons chasing after an innocent girl-me.

I stopped, looking around the place. No where to go, I basically trapped myself. I am two levels up, standing on a roof. If I parked my car here, I wouldn't park it on a roof. I heard a click and froze instantly.

"Don't try anything." A manly voice called out. I didn't do anything, other than breath heavily from the long run and blink of coarse. I moved my gaze and looked up from the ground and came to a man. He dressed like he was in the FBI or CIA.

"What did I do?" I whispered. More footsteps, more people like him stepped in the level.

I didn't think he caught what I said for a few seconds, then he replied. "Your an Extra." He paused and I frowned in confusion. "An Extra is a person that holds a certain power, you're dangerous. If your energy is not realized then you could explode." I didn't like the sound of that. Wait, what?

"This-" I started, but quickly I was cut off from him barking out a shut up. I clamped my mouth shut and left it like that. He had the upper hand, being the one with a gun and his friends.

"This is not a joke-" I couldn't help myself and I interrupted him.

"You sound like one of those ads, except they don't talk." I said thoughtfully. He sent a glare in my direction. I looked around, inspecting on how many people with guns were here.

6. 6 people with a weapon. I lived a nice 16 1/2 years. "You are going to come with us, with it being forcefully or not." Really tough situation here.

"Um...neither?" I more as questioned.

"Forcefully, apparently." My eyes widened to about as round as a watermelon. He came at me. I don't know what came of me, but when he was in an arms length I grabbed his arm and pulled it up. He yelled out in pain, but I kicked him where the sun doesn't shine and he groaned. I heard gunshots, but none came to hitting me.

I brought my knee to his head and he fell to the floor. I didn't stop, I dodged gun shots and I flipped over to another person and knocked him out somehow. I don't know where all this came from.

I somehow managed to knock them all out, except for one. I was standing next tot he edge, they really need walls. Only a small 4 wall thing sticking up from the floor of the level. Like that would stop someone from falling off.

I felt a tug on my ankle and my foot kicked the man that is making me fall currently out, getting hit hard in the head from my foot. Before I could do anything, I was falling.

Falling to my death, right? Well, you're wrong and so am I. I stopped mid-air. My eyes were closed, not wanting to see the ground and the end of my life come closer. I cracked open my eyelids slowly and the first thing I see is the building I was currently in. I looked up and I blinked in surprise and yelled out.
