小さな青い鳥 Little Bluebird

Once upon a time, near the 1860s, in the village of Kinkaku-ji, there was a little bluebird named, Chisana Burubado. Chisana's mother had recently become very sick and he was searching frantically for some type of resolution for her problem. One day he came across a flower, in a book, named Chiyu Hikari that blooms in the mountains of Mount Fuji, but will Chisana be able to handle the journey? This is the story of a little blue bird with the hope of saving his mother.

Chisana had always loved to go to the library, but now he had a very important purpose to be there, other than for fun. " Hi, Ms. Toshokan-in. I'm looking for a book about medicine to look through for something to help my mother, get well again." Chisana explained.

" Oh, the poor dear, your mother is a very lovely lady, such a sweetheart. I hope she gets well again. Good luck with your research, my little friend, " Ms. Toshokan-in replied. " Books about medicine are in aisle eight." Chisana hurried over to aisle eight and scanned very quickly through the books until he found the medicine section. Hours later, he found the book he was looking for. Chisana excitedly chirped when he found an entry, which swiftly caught his attention, about a flower that would help him.

Chiyu Hikari
"Healing Light"

The Chiyu Hikari flower means healing light. This flower has a beautiful purple hue and shines at night with a distinctive purple glow. This fascinating flower can heal as well as cure any sickness, no matter what the circumstances. The Chiyu Hikari flower can be found in a hidden, grove on Mount Fuji.

Chisana rushed out of the library and to his nest inside the Sakura tree, It was almost in full bloom being that spring just barely started. The petals were a vibrant pink with the smell of the morning dew and a friendly atmosphere. As Chisana's nest came to view he instantly grabbed his stick weaved basket and started to place in food, water, and small blankets inside it. Chisana fluttered over to his sick mother. " Mother, " Chisana squeaked. " How are you? Is your health improving? " Chisana's mother, Hikari no haha, replied in a gravelly and rough voice that no, she was not getting better, but not to worry.

That night, Chisana thought about the Chiyu Hikari flower and made a plan to go find it. He rose from his little bed in the nest and gathered supplies for seven days worth of travel. That morning, his mother woke to see a note from him explaining his absence and that he loved her and would be back soon. Meanwhile, Chisana was gliding over the lakes nearby Mount Fuji. Suddenly, Chisana grew tired and his bundle of supplies slipped off of his wing. " Oh no! " Chisana cried. " What am I going to do? It's not like I can go back now... " Chisana flew faster, determined to get back home without needing any supplies. As Chisana reached Mount Fuji, he had grown very cold and was voraciously shivering. Chisana gently landed on the soft snow, as he started to lay down to rest. Before Chisana knew it, the glamorous day turned a dark, mysterious blue very suddenly. An avalanche rained down upon Chisana before he realized what was happening. After what seemed like forever, Chisana heard soft footsteps in the snow.

" Help me! " Chisana shrieked, to make sure he was heard. The footsteps started towards him as he started to dig upwards. He was suddenly pulled out of the snow and saw the faces of a fox, a deer and a chipmunk. "Thank you so much! You don't know how much you just helped me!" Chisana thanked them as the fox then spoke.

"Hi! My name is Zurui Kitsune, but you can call me Sly," he said with an adorable smirk. Then Chisana saw a little chipmunk bouncing up and down with a wide smile,

"Hello mister, I'm Chippi Chippusukunku but you can call me Chippy!" squeaked Chippy proudly. Chisana then saw a deer coming into view.

"I am very pleased to meet you. I'm Deiji Shika, but may call me Daisy." Daisy added with a calm and sophisticated voice.
